So VERY Glad my wife and I decided to check this place out. Went for lunch and the place, wait staff and food were all so great that we came back again for lunch after church. I had the Smokey Burger the first time and the Chicken Fried Steak the next time. My wife had the Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich both times. We both loved our food. The sides are excellent also!...sweet potato waffle fries, grilled veggies and roasted corn are all great. Definitely looking at becoming regulars...
We got the appetizer sampler and the plain cheeseburger. The portions were very generous and the price point was good! The service was quick and attentive. However, the burger meat quality could have been better but it was decent overall.
We visited Smokey Rooster while on vacation in Corpus Christi. We arrived on the 4th of July an hour before closing. Customer service was top tier and the wings were oh so delicious. Service was quick wings were hot and fresh, we had the lemon pepper and Hawaiian wings, rib combo, chicken strips and fried pickles.I’ll add that we are a family of color and were treated with respect and kindness. Our server was tentative, patient and kind. We’ll definitely be back!
