Very cool with a local vibe and great view of Laguna Madre especially at sunset! The staff just could not have been better. Kudos to Ashley and Reggie! Oh yeah…the food…Huge selection of both classic and original Gulf Coast dishes. Can’t go wrong with the Shrimp boil. Oysters were heavenly!

We were told it was an hour wait. So we waited for a table for an hour. We were the next in line and the manager sent out a server to announce that due a large group we would need to wait for another hour to be seated and another hour for food due to the kitchen being busy. I asked to speak to the manager and he would not come talk to me. We left hungry. Lots of open seating available.

You want to throw down on oysters and a main dish, this is the place to do it. We sampled oysters around town, all hit or miss - except here. They source east coast oysters in addition to gulf oysters - they shuck them the right way, leaving the liquor in the shell. They provide both cocktail sauce and mignonette, though be forewarned, the mignonette is not the traditiional red wine vinegar/shallot/cracked black pepper - it's something different that's got its own unique flavor, not going to try to describe it but it seems to go well with the gulf oysters. I bet they have traditional mignonette, but I didn't ask for it - will have to for the east coast oysters next time. For the mains go ahead and skip the menu and ask about the gulf coast or chef special - the chef is passionate and goes nuts with those, and they aren't out-priced or anything. Had snapper over lobster mashed potatoes with asparagus if I recall correctly, and it was outstanding.Looks like all the seats can see the sunset, it was beautiful. We arrived without a reservation and it was about a 20 minute wait. Wear a collared island shirt so you don't look like a heathen.Reggie the hype man caught us out on the boardwalk eating ice cream afterwards, he's a hoot.

So wife and I cook!!!! Yet we like to hit the social restaurants life. Each time it's been on point. Food is delightful. Sad few have not had good experience but everyone's palet is different. I recommend 100%percent. Do not confuse it with snoopys restaurant.

Doc’s was packed, it made sense because their food is awesome. Decided to try the pearl and was super turned off by the rude staff from host to server. Don’t go unless you’re a (visibly) rich caucasian. Sad there are places still like this but I guess that’s the island for you.

We ordered the filet and it had no flavor. The server must hqve been new but I saw him twice. It would take for ever to get things. We even had to get up to get our own silverware. The crab was over cooked. Overall I had high hopes for the place as the restaurant is beautiful scenery is beautiful food looked beautiful but lacked flavor and execution.

This place was so awesome! Hands down the best oysters in all of Corpus. We had great seats viewing the bay. There was live music that just added to the vibe. Our waitress, Casey, was bada$$ and was funny, attentive, and made our experience that much better. We ordered a whole lot of food but the stand out was the seafood tower with crab. I highly recommend!

The view is awesome and the food was pretty good. The service was incredibly slow. We were in there with one other table and it took 20 minutes to get our bill. Overall not worth the price. Also, we accidentally left a jacket and they said it hadn’t been found. Our fault, but hard to believe it wasn’t found when the place was empty. Won’t be coming back.
