It should not take 20 minutes just to get a premade sandwich heated up. They are understaffed, and the employees leave food for last on the order preps.

Hello. I am a paying customer and student of the nearby university. I can count on my fingers, toes, and more for the amount of times this Starbucks has disappointed me. I'll go ahead and list out my experiences here just so you can know what you're getting yourself into.
1. I was messing with the app because I saw a coupon for a free drink, by accident I had ordered a large vanilla bean frappe. I immediately walked up to the cashier and was trying everything possible to get it refunded and she told me that I would have to take it to corporate. Hello? Somehow, that was the fastest time my drink was made.
2. I will attach a photo of my drink, that will be the first. I was having a rough day and decided that a sweet treat would cheer me up. Right? Wrong. They handed me the drink in the given photo. A sad excuse for a mocha frappe. No, they would not remake it.
3. Speaking of remaking drinks, I have ordered a specific drink MULITPLE times. I know it is sweet because I have had it before but SOMEHOW, it always comes out bitter when they make it for me. It also usually takes an hour to be made.
4. I was busy at work but I wanted something that would boost up my energy, so I decided to order the drink listed on the second photo. I have my friend go to pick it up for me. She comes back with the second photo. I had her SHOW the barista the drink name to avoid any mishaps, as listed above. Now who in their right mind think that the two photos look the same? You might as well get property in Arizona with the hopes that you'll have your own personal ocean. I decide enough is enough and go to Starbucks myself, asking them what went wrong. They said that they forgot to add the strawberry puree. Okay? So go add it then? I asked if they would remake it for me and they gave me the last photo. Are you kidding me.
So overall, no I would NOT recommend getting Starbucks from here. I have walked away disappointed more times than happy. Take it from a student who has been here for a year and has tried to give them multiple chances.

As a new sophomore student that has ordered here many times during freshman year, I've had far more bad experiences here than good. The employees do not understand the need to work at a fast pace because students need to be at their classes on time, especially in the mornings where that is a necessity. I always expect that from Starbucks but especially at a University's starbucks where they are working with students. There has been numerous times where I've had to walk out of this cafe because my drink wasn't made in time before class. Starbucks is known to be convenient when it comes to making and giving the customers their orders, however this particular Starbucks on TAMUCC's campus is the complete opposite. Sometimes all of the flavored drinks are sold out, and I receive my iced drinks with the ice almost melted.
Would not recommend students ordering from this starbucks in the mornings unless they wanna be late to class!!

Great location on campus. Fast service. Super clean. At the end of the day, it's a great Starbucks. They are not busy during the summer but during the Falll and Spring semester it can be a little busy but not too bad.

My order is wrong or, more often, poorly made nearly every other time I go here (e.g., matcha not being mixed). I’m not a big Starbucks fan in general, but this location is especially bad. I wish the campus had a better alternative because the quality definitely doesn’t justify the price.

They are bad service, messed up my order

not good service; always gets my order wrong and when i confront them they don’t fix it and if they do, they don’t fix it and give me back the same thing
They ALWAYS get my order wrong the first time. Sometimes even the second or third time. If you order using the app they don't notify you and just leave the orders stacked on the counter. The employees always act confused and offended when I tell them my order is wrong. I feel bad for the manager there because she has to fix the mistakes of literally every single employee. The employees also seem to let their friends order first and get their orders first. Incredibly frustrating experience every single time.

i ordered my drink online there was no line when i went in and the app said it should be ready around 5:07, it wasn’t so i kept waiting and missed my bus at 5:10. at 5:30 i nicely asked if they had my order in the system incase something went wrong because everyone that was coming after me had already received their drinks except for me. she showed me my cup just sitting there for some reason next to her and so i said okay thankyou, i just wanted to know they had it. another 10 minutes go by and i finally got my drink at 5:40 and missed the bus a second time so i had to wait for the next one again. i’m patient and understanding when it comes to service workers, i get it and i would’ve had no problem if i was sitting there studying and wasn’t trying to catch a bus. but either way 30+ minutes on one drink with no line is crazy for me to comprehend even after i politely tried to remind them, but next time i’ll make sure to go when i have lots of time to spare because i guess i’ll need it. no hard feelings towards the workers i understand it’s exhausting but im just confused why it took so long
This location is probably the busiest location with the amount of orders coming in and with the lower number of staff. However, they work so hard and do such a great job at fulfilling orders. The drinks taste great. Food is great. There are peak times especially being located at a University. However, it's worth the wait. The staff is friendly and the manger/supervisor, Maria is the best. You can tell she cares and works hard to serve us.

BEWARE: If you drink decaffeinated coffee for a medical reason, do not get your coffee from this location. On several occasions, I've been served regular caffeine coffee after requesting decaffeinated coffee. On 02/16/2024, I ordered coffee with a coworker. I requested decaffeinated coffee, and received my coworker's coffee with 3 shots of espresso that was labeled as my decaffeinated.

I ordered a drink at 10:39, it told me it would be ready at 10:51. have three items. I had a venti a grande and then a peppermint cakepops, i understand y’all are busy but i shouldn’t be waiting an hour for a drink. Everyone that was here before me has gotten there drink and i ordered before all of them on the app ? it really shouldn’t take almost an hour to make a drink, i got the peppermint cake pop and then the grande before everything else and stood there waiting for my third item. i had to ask them to make it because they were making everyone else’s before mine.
