We were there for breakfast. It tasted great and don't pass on the Large Croissant ... I opted for that instead of toast with my over easy eggs. Which were cooked just right.A very homey relaxed atmosphere. BRAVO!

I am impressed! First of all my sandwich was cooked perfectly with the right amount of everything. The bread was toasted lightly but still soft and the cheese was melted…exactly how it should be! For dessert I got the key lime bar and oh my goodness…It was perfection ❤️ seriously one of the best desserts I’ve had in Corpus Christi, so simple and so good. For sure in my top five treats!

Omg, Sugarbaker's for Saturday brunch is so good. I overeat every time. The waffles with fruit and whipped cream is yummy, yummy! I should order eggs, but just so, so good on the sweet stuff. I guess that is why it is called Sugarbaker's!

Great food and desserts. Pancakes were huge & delicious. Meatloaf on the special was very good, although mashed potatoes were a little hardened not creamy. Gravy was very good. Broccoli cheddar soup was delicious.

Great place for some tasty comfort food. I had the daily hot plate special. There are hot tea options that are very nice options to cold drinks. Lots of desserts to choose from.

We came in a big group. We had six or seven tables and everyone got their orders in and drinks within 20 minutes. Our table as a table of 8 received tiny cups of coffee, we waited over an hour for 2 Pepsi's and to order our food. All of our group was done eating before we even placed our order. We were there for an hour and half and we still hadn't gotten our food. We were told there were six tickets in front of ours. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. We went to pay for our drinks and the cashier had the gall to ask us if we wanted to talk to a manager to have our food removed. No we are not paying for food we did not receive. The manager never came out at any point. We had the young man as a server. Nothing was handled properly.

After an hour had passed we were told that there were 6 tickets ahead of us. We decided to leave. We paid for the coffee that we had gotten. Cashier had the audacity to ask if the manager should remove the food off the bill. We never got any food!

Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the service. The food is always good here but today the service was the worst. Table for 2 and our waiter was sullen and curt. Didn't check on us, fill our water, and when I did manage to catch him to ask for a to-go box he didn't say anything, just went and got it, laid it on the table and walked away. A "how was everything?" wouldn't have hurt.
