This place is delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and the place is always clean. They have a chips and salsa bar when you eat inside I recommend taking advantage of.

For starters, this location has never provided a bad experience in the past. This review is in regards to an isolated incident. However, after today, I will not be returning.

I am extremely disappointed and upset with my recent visit to this location. I didn’t even think twice about eating the burrito I ordered, when I got home, it went straight into the trash (completely honest).

What I witnessed at the drive-through window was unacceptable. The person assisting me was wearing disposable gloves, but was using those same gloves to handle everything: swiping my card, opening and closing the window, filling my drink, and touching the computer screen and headset. I initially didn’t think much of it… until I watched them prepare my burrito with the exact same gloves!! These are the same gloves they used to help the customer ahead of me.

I was genuinely shocked. Not only were the gloves visibly dirty from everything handled at the window, but every single ingredient for my burrito was grabbed directly with those same contaminated gloves, including a literal handful of chicken. I understand that using hands is faster and more practical in a busy kitchen, but that is only acceptable if clean gloves are used every time food is handled. This is basic food safety.

This experience was both unsanitary and completely unacceptable, and it shows a serious lack of proper hygiene and training. I left feeling disgusted, disappointed, and concerned for other customers who may not have noticed what I saw. Not only was the food I ordered wasted, but so is the money I’m paying for a meal and service.

Pollo Palenque needs to address this immediately. Food safety is not optional.

We loved the grilled chicken ! The fresh four tortillas and salsa were also surprisingly good ! Our sever Mr. Jose really went above and beyond to make our meal great, thank you !

I have been there about five times. The people there are very friendly. They’re always coming around to see if I need anything. I was afraid the chicken was gonna be dry, but it’s not. It’s very juicy.
