Taqueria Garibaldi

I am a provider I came to this restaurant cuz of my client said it was good in the food was delicious the plate was good size but as a provider I don't make much but I'll know I got a meal for me and a meal for him and the mail came out to 30 something and I didn't leave a tip which I usually do if I have it. I even made sure my area was clean and not a big mess and as usual the mess was kept on the plate itself. Anyways I went to pay I paid with a card I get my receipt it was 30 something as for the tip I didn't leave none I scratched out the tip area because I couldn't tip this time. But come to find out they took a $10 tip in their own behalf without notifying me. And you know this isn't the first time a restaurant has done this and the thing is it's always been Mexican this and I'm not discriminating I'm just saying what it is and that's one of the reasons why I stopped eating at Mexican restaurants but then I give it another try using my credit card thinking maybe it was just that one restaurant and and it happens again.

This place is a little off the beaten path. Close to Downtown Corpus. Excellent TEXMEX food and reasonably priced. I visit this place often.

It's the best when you miss your grandparents' cooking. Always like home. Friendly staff

Kinda scary, I asked for chips and salsa and was given a fried tortilla that was burnt and cut unto 6 triangles, ordered a bean, cheese and bacon taco was soaked in grease was wildest taco I've ever seen in life didn't even taste it was to scary, and my plate had a 1/4 inch of some kinda grease and oil covering my plate, wouldn't recommend the chips or tacos

17 bucks for dry beef fajita taquitos and a coke wild. It be worth it if it was good, unfortunately just rubbery and bland

Que me falta cuando siempre pidoThe Texas Plate, Enchiladas rice beans tortillas and carne guisada, guacamole be a perfect first date for new couple of any age to share and enjoy. Server was courteous and time was better than normal at other places. But I do like what I ordered. Bien rico la comida.
