Food is delicious and drinks are on par with the food

New favorite bar. A little speakeasy Tapas Bar where out of this world tapas and the drinks were served. Loved the refreshing Whata Melon cocktail overlooking a fabulous waterfront view. Service was impeccable.

Very very very small menu. Very limited seating as well. Some of the best tasting oysters I’ve had though.

I've been here twice, and both visits my wife and I have been turned away because they were short staffed and/or dead enough to the point they can't stay open. Open 4pm till midnight, but closed by 8:45? Disappointing. There will not be a third attempt here

This is such a beautiful spot to eat and drink at. The staff is very helpful with their suggestions and knowledge. The bartenders are outstanding! The drinks were excellent. Our server was Arron and he was so nice. Happy hour all day Wednesday is really awesome. We got the New England oysters and they were perfect. I don’t ever have cocktail sauce with my oysters but I’m so glad I tried theirs, it was the best I’ve ever had. I could be wrong but the horseradish seems like it’s fresh, it was so good. We got the octopus and we were in heaven eating it! If you’ve never had it or had a bad experience with octopus in the past give this plate a try, it’ll completely change your view on octopus! We also got the scallop ceviche and it was so amazing. The strawberries in made it unique and memorable. I cannot stop talking about this place and I can’t wait till we go back. It’s such a good date spot.

The Mariner feels like an upscale dive bar, located on the second floor of a houseboat above a gift shop. It's an adults-oriented bar with tapas dishes. Based on the reviews, I had high expectations and went out of my way to go here. I had expected something a bit more elegant, although the food itself was anything but pedestrian. I envisioned something more akin to fine dining, especially considering the price. The restaurant is small, but the tables are smaller, making it difficult to fit all the plates. The service itself was fine, what you would expect from a bar restaurant (mostly bar), and a bit slow.

The food itself looked great, but it just wasn’t that good, and we were HUNGRY! I expected to like it a lot more than I did, considering the ratings and the photos. It seems like a great bar to have a drink and get a small bite, but if you're looking for an elegant seafood restaurant, you should avoid it. I came for the food, and while I have no specific complaints, it didn't resonate with me in terms of value or vibe.

On a side note, I was amazed at how quickly and how much food they produced from the seemingly tiny kitchen. It appears to be a small business, and they were working hard. I wish them the best.

Fine dining with the best high end libations in town! Sadyes, Vanessa, and Tacie are all amazing. Their custom beverages will not disappoint and the food is above Corpitos normal. Bring your lady, ya boy, or their lady and have a night to remember.

Great dinner at The Mariner! I tried the Texas oysters. They were reasonable in size to eat 6 of them as an appetizer and be ready for a real dish. I then had the Spanish baby octopus 🐙 and they were really good. In addition, the place is well positioned on the marina next to Corpus' downtown. I will sure come back next time I am around

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff at this restaurant truly loves what they do. The food is absolutely exquisite! We sampled a variety of appetizers and main dishes, and I can confidently say you can't go wrong with any choice. The lamb sliders were simply outstanding, and the coconut crème brûlée was a delightful treat. Each dish we tried, including the octopus, scallop ceviche, beef tartare, and snapper dip, was nothing short of amazing. Our server, Andy, was attentive and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. A highlight was when the head chef came out to showcase his impressive skills, which was a real treat. The mixologist also impressed us, crafting drinks that were perfection in a glass. This place is an absolute gem in Corpus Christi, and I highly recommend it. Just be mindful that seating is limited, so making a reservation is advisable, although they do welcome walk-ins. You won't be disappointed!

Made a reservation for my birthday (thank goodness) and they wished me happy birthday on the table reservation sign! Lauren, our waitress was so attentive, great attitude, amazing recommendations and made the whole experience that much better! The space is super cool, the drinks are creative and everything is nautical themed which makes sense since it’s in the yacht harbor! We will be back for sure!
