Kouign aman was the best I've ever tasted. Lemon merenge tarts were fabulous! Light flaky crust with filling that was just the right amount of tartness. And oh the big round bread...was it sourdough?

The BEST Avo toast I've ever had! Great environment, clean ,friendly staff. My favorite go to place after appointments in Corpus!

Omg best lemon cake I’ve ever had. Best people. Great quality ingredients (to be fair I’ve only had the coffee and cake but it was all very good). Surprisingly good prices.

I have previously given a 5 star review... but pur recent experience dictates a revision.
This morning we arrived at 8:45 and there were no croissants. The problem? I called at 7:30 to see if/when they would be available and was told they would be out in 45 min to an hr. We arrived and hr and 15 min later and were told it would be 45 min to an hour.. still. When we ask how that could be, we called and you said the same thing over an hr ago they said proofing takes time.
If this was a one time thing I would blow it off, but this is the third time. Almost 9 am and no croissants. Not sold out.. just not baked yet.
We drive almost 40 min to come in for breakfast.. this morning we took our business to Bien Merite.

Water St. Central Kitchen is an absolute delight. The vibe here is so inviting that whether you’re popping in for a cute scone and a quick coffee to-go or sitting down to enjoy one of their delectable toasts, it feels like a little escape from the world. The freshness of everything on the menu is the superstar, and it's made daily with care. If you stop by on a Sunday, you’re in for a treat because the farmers market runs from 10 to 2—definitely worth a visit! But what really makes this place special is the staff. My wife and I stopped in for a quick snacky snack. She had the Billy Elvis and I had a snickerdoodle cookie and a ice tea.
Both were fantastic and the tea was very smooth.

Terrible service, no one paid attention to us, my food was cold and I had to take it myself from the counter and the place was not even packed.

We were there for breakfast. The food was okay however the service was bad. The table was not cleaned, no one brought the food to the table or at least call out the numbers to pick up the food. The meal had turned cold as it was sitting on the counter for a while.
Need to work on their service.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is really good here, but I wish they had at least one allergy friendly bread option. There was nothing for my kid to eat at this place (milk and egg allergy).

I’ve been here 3 times and one of the times they were out of bacon for the Adam and Eve but it seems they have fixed that problem now. The food is great if you want to elevate from the Ihop crowd. I find the seating a little weird because I always seem to end up near the ordering station where there are a lot of people. However if it’s not too hot you can sit outside and it’s pleasant.
