First time at the Original location. We usually go to the big location near the Russell Stover factory. Good food at good prices. And there are plenty of options other than fruitcake. I had the chili and my husband had the chicken enchilada soup. Both delicious. Big bakery counter with lots of goodies for dessert. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating.

This is my hometown bakery. The cookies taste just as good now as they did in 1975! The chocolate frosted praline is my all-time favorite. The cherry ice box cookie is also a winner. It is pricey but I guess nostalgia is just expensive. I guess I'll always come back around.

The team is fantastic, I felt as if I was in a place they’ve been before with people I know. Just amazing welcoming and everything in the bakery is top notch. Still made the way they did 125 yrs ago. Definitely will continue my patronage when I travel from Houston to Dallas.

Went in there around 10am to get something for breakfast. Wasn’t much good options as shown on their menu online but I settled on a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. I paid $8 for a littler sandwich that was cold and watery! Wasn’t even heated up properly or fresh. Definitely won’t be coming back…was not the worth the price.

Nice local bakery. I have known of this place for a long time and frequently stopped at the highway location for cookies and sandwiches. We picked up a fruit cake from the bakery in town here. We didn't see the prices listed on the larger tins. We were shocked to see they were $50 after we checked out...for a fruitcake. Then we looked at the ingredients and it had all sorts of stuff that is not good. I know being a cake, you can expect the sugar and stuff, but I didn't expect the amount of artificial preservatives and food dyes. I guess this is why these cakes can last so long...

Dear Collin Street Bakery, I love you. Best sandwich I've had in a loooong time (bacon turkey ranch) and the cookies?! Got a sample to go. They are delicious and wonderfully affordable 😋 😍. Will be back again! Highly recommend if you're near Corsicana 👌 worth the drive if you're not.

Visit confirmed my great memories of Collin Street Bakery as a kid. Loved the deli sandwiches. Bought a bunch of cherry ice box cookies as well.

I enjoy fruitcake. Collin’s St Bakery are masters of the fruitcake universe. They’ve been around over 100 years! Their downtown location is worth taking the time for a diversion, it’s a charming vintage bakery cafe fronting the fruitcake factory. There’s an H‑E‑B grocery store across the street & some historic churches. If you venture downtown you’ll see a wonderful array of boutiques & shops. Their south location is a quick exit off & back in the freeway. At either location; get their signature chicken salad sandwich on their pecan bread, & sample & buy their fruitcake. It is a Texas institution marked by the logo on their tins that features a lovely snowy Victorian scene slashed by an image of a Texas cowboy! You can’t help but love it!

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this bakery. I have gone in every year for a cake for a very dear occasion to me. Megan has handled my cake order for the past two years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Megan is quite literally an angel on this Earth. She has made sure the cake is just right. The new cake gentleman had me in tears with his creation, I wish I knew his name. I will not go to any other place but here for my cake. Megan and I share a few things in common and she has made me feel truly special and loved every time I come in. Hold Megan close because she is someone very special. Thank you Collin Street 7th Ave for taking such great care of me.

I remember back in the days I go in there and it smelled of fresh baked goods. Now I went today, I was disappointed, the baked goods are frozen, not the same.
