If you want spicy though be sure to say that, they aren’t spicy otherwise.”

“Super cozy, rustic space in historic downtown Corsicana. Timbers has it all from a great variety of hot and cold beverages to a delicious breakfast, lunch, or snack. This place is all about community, and you will feel it when you step inside. It is owned/operated by the Hines family, who will make you feel welcome and like part of the family! They offer delicious homemade bagels, soups, sandwiches, baked goods, and the best cup of coffee around. There is also a great boutique area with fun clothing, jewelry, and home accessories (they carry Tyler candles/products). I highly recommend Timbers to anyone looking for a relaxing spot for a great cup of coffee, or bite to eat. Timbers is a real gem!”

“We had a great time, sorry no pictures. We came from Dallas to visit family and decided to dine in. Meagan was our waitress and was very attentive and sweet. The food, was prepared hot and well. Since I don't have pictures, I'll just list what was ordered. Chicken tenders, 12oz ribeye, and Cajun tilapia with shrimp. We also ordered dessert (pecan cobbler and pumpkin crunch, limited edition) All in all, we had a great time”

“This might have been the best chick-fil-a I have ever been to. The service was amazing. The waitress had our food before we even got to the table. The food was fresh and had just been cooked. So after eating at chick-fil-a you usually take the trash to the automatic trash cans but the service was so good they took our trash for us! The staff was always very respectful and welcoming, saying my pleasure and have a blessed day. 🙌 Just amazing.”

“Hands down, The Pelican Grill is the best! I had the BLT with chips, and he had the quesadilla with chips and salsa — both were delicious. But what really set this place apart was how incredibly pet-friendly they are. "Pet-friendly" is honestly an understatement. Our fur baby was treated like royalty! She was brought a cup of water and and we purchased a hamburger patty, and she got to sit at the table with us and eat. We felt so welcomed, and so did she. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a place that truly doesn’t discriminate against animals.”

I'm beyond thrilled that we stopped in there, because OMG 😳 their food is authentic and amazing! It's family owned and everything is fresh, the sauces are so good, I have never had such stuffed tamales in my life! “At the suggestion of my daughter, I tried a 3 piece lunch the other day. Had to wait for it to cool off as it was served piping hot! Chicken was moist and tasty! Fries were good too and I liked the Layne’s sauce. I’ll go back for sure…maybe get a 4 piece next time!”

“Everytime we're in Corsicana we visit this Church's Chicken location! Our visit today 11/12/24 (around 1pm) was excellent! The lady at the front desk has amazing customer service skills. She greeted us upon entry and got our food ready really fast during our dine-in visit. She even took time to separate our spicy chicken from the regular chicken and put it in separate box for our toddler. The chicken was hot and fresh! The sweet tea was awesome! Love this place. Please keep up the great work guys! Thank you for your service yesterday!”

Im not much of a coffee consumer however I love the Spinach Egg white wraps. Im in Corsicana and I absolutely love everything about this location. “I've been coming here for some time and I love the owners!! When I was pregnant (recently gave birth) I craved their tortas and tacos 24/7!! They always got me right on everything! My partner and I are regulars and they are always nice, generous, and just all around awesome people! Amazing food! My go to from day one! If they ever change location I'm following them there lol.”

“Brick Street Brewery is a great little place to take a break from the craziness of life. Quite somedays, packed others but always an amazing environment. This is definitely a place to check out. Service is great(Madison is the best!!!!) and the beer is always 🥶!

Driving Dallas ↔ Houston at 2am and need zabiha halal? Turbo Joe's inside the gas station has your back. Don’t expect white tablecloths — it’s a food counter in a convenience store — but for fresh halal on the road, it delivers.

We almost bailed after seeing mixed reviews about halal authenticity. Sheikh Mubeen Kamani’s review is what convinced us to try it. No regrets.

The good stuff: Burgers, wings, fries are all made fresh right in front of you. They use separate fryers for chicken/fries vs. other non-halal items, which we really appreciated. Service is super friendly — they even let us sample the biryani before buying. It’s not winning any biryani awards, but it passed the taste test so we grabbed some. Heads up: biryani is the only thing they warm up vs. cook fresh.

Pricing: Solid. Most items under $10, nothing over $15.

Watch outs:
1. Menu is confusing. Lists “Angus beef” burgers and regular burgers, but they only have one beef. You’ll get charged the Angus price no matter what — $1 more across the board.
2. Buns are huge but a bit sweet. Owner, please add a savory bun option! Would be perfect.
3. Fountain drinks: sip before you fill. My Sprite tasted like carbonated vinegar… but we were already miles down I-45 when we noticed.

Bottom line: For fresh, late-night zabiha halal between Dallas and Houston, Turbo Joe's is clutch. Not fine dining, but it hits the spot when you need it most. Worth the stop.”

“Authentic Mexican restaurant! Stopped by while on a road trip. Ordered the chilaquiles con mole and the mole was DELICIOUS, it tasted like authentic sweet style mole. Also ordered the pozole and it was really good. Service was great, will definitely stop here again on my next road trip.”

“This is my first time eating Chicken Express. I drive a tractor trailer and had to stop due to running out of time. The customer service was great, the store was fairly clean & the price was decent. The guy at the register was kinda chill 😎. The only bad part, to me, is, I ordered jalapeño poppers and it’s not worth the money. I got 3 poppers for $3.24 with tax. They taste great, but they were too small and the portion size was just as small. I would eat here again, but I will not order the poppers.”
