“I ended up here because I stopped for gas at the Mobil gas station. The food at the convenience store portion was undesirable, so I ended up buying a tostada at Taco Casa. Seems like a more basic version of Taco Bell. Leaving 4 stars because the dining room was dirty. Tostada was OK.“

“At the suggestion of my daughter, I tried a 3 piece lunch the other day. Had to wait for it to cool off as it was served piping hot! Chicken was moist and tasty! Fries were good too and I liked the Layne’s sauce. I’ll go back for sure…maybe get a 4 piece next time!“

Driving Dallas ↔ Houston at 2am and need zabiha halal? Turbo Joe's inside the gas station has your back. Don’t expect white tablecloths — it’s a food counter in a convenience store — but for fresh halal on the road, it delivers.
We almost bailed after seeing mixed reviews about halal authenticity. Sheikh Mubeen Kamani’s review is what convinced us to try it. No regrets.
The good stuff: Burgers, wings, fries are all made fresh right in front of you. They use separate fryers for chicken/fries vs. other non-halal items, which we really appreciated. Service is super friendly — they even let us sample the biryani before buying. It’s not winning any biryani awards, but it passed the taste test so we grabbed some. Heads up: biryani is the only thing they warm up vs. cook fresh.
Pricing: Solid. Most items under $10, nothing over $15.
Watch outs:
1. Menu is confusing. Lists “Angus beef” burgers and regular burgers, but they only have one beef. You’ll get charged the Angus price no matter what — $1 more across the board.
2. Buns are huge but a bit sweet. Owner, please add a savory bun option! Would be perfect.
3. Fountain drinks: sip before you fill. My Sprite tasted like carbonated vinegar… but we were already miles down I-45 when we noticed.
Bottom line: For fresh, late-night zabiha halal between Dallas and Houston, Turbo Joe's is clutch. Not fine dining, but it hits the spot when you need it most. Worth the stop.“

“Service was good. Shared a meal of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, collard greens, a roll of, & Buttermilk pie! Was delicious! Chicken fried steak was very flavorful! I don’t normally eat collard greens but I tried them and very much enjoyed them!“

“We been wanting to stop by here everytime we travel from Houston to Dallas. Wasn't able to till this trip witch was around 12:45am. Went inside and a nice gentlemen greeted me and asked what we would like. We ordered 3 halal burger combos and a small pizza. The burgers were so delicious. Even my wife liked it so much and she is more of a chicken eater. It was freshly made with fresh ingredients. Definitely will be stopping by more often when we pass through.“

“Everytime we're in Corsicana we visit this Church's Chicken location! Our visit today 11/12/24 (around 1pm) was excellent! The lady at the front desk has amazing customer service skills. She greeted us upon entry and got our food ready really fast during our dine-in visit. She even took time to separate our spicy chicken from the regular chicken and put it in separate box for our toddler. The chicken was hot and fresh! The sweet tea was awesome! Love this place. Please keep up the great work guys! Thank you for your service yesterday!“

“The service was top-notch. Food was hot and served quickly. In and out in no time at all. If you are traveling and wants fast service this is the spot to stop.
Parking: They had handicapped parking with ramp. I cannot do curbs. So, it was easy for me to get inside.
Kid-friendliness: Wide range of menu for children. They could get their choice with everything or with only what they eat on it. Size wasn't a problem.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp and tables are placed with easy placement of chair or walker.“

“Food is great compared to other JackITB stores, today we had an issue where my receipt wouldn't print (which I need for work because they reimburse), the manager Net took care of me even though they were busy and after troubleshooting she solved the issue. She's a rockstar and this store is fantastic, thank you!!!“

“So grateful to have the absolute best Chic-fil-A team in our town! After a little bit of a rough day, we came through the drive-thru for some dinner. As soon as we pulled up, we got offered a chocolate shake that they had extra. With the whip & cherry! As simple as it may be, it truly made me feel so special. Like a little hug from God himself.
