“What started as an impromptu Monday morning road trip turned into one of those experiences that sticks with you. I came into the Corsicana Waffle House with a book, and notebook, and a writing project I’m working on. I planned to spend some time doing research, drinking coffee, and working on my book. Instead, I found not only a great breakfast but also a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Dominique. She was friendly, kind, and took a real interest in what I was working on. We talked about my writing, stories and even my truck, Pedro, parked outside. Those little conversations may not seem like much, but they can make a place feel less like a restaurant and more like a community. The food was great, the coffee kept flowing, and the hospitality was outstanding. As a writer, inspiration can come from unexpected places. On this particular Monday morning, a little bit of that inspiration found me at a Waffle House booth in Corsicana.

“Will repeat what has already been said, best Waffle House I have been to and I’ve been to over 100 traveling through the US. Very clean, friendly, workers are working and attentive, food was great, and fast service. Sat at the bar by the register and Abby was great, got my drink as on as I ordered and my food right away, thanks Abby for being great at your job!“
