“I cannot say enough positive things about the food.We went for the special which was Pho. I’ve always been a creamy soup base person but was interested in trying the Pho because of the 24 hour broth. This broth was hands down the best broth I’ve ever had. The chili oil was made in house as well & before I put it on my food I had to taste it. It was so well balanced & the heat blossomed in your mouth. The mint created an element that was very refreshing against the heat of the oil that made this dish an absolute success. The noodles were a perfect texture, the meat was thin & tender.We also started with a sampler of appetizers which had mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, & dirty fries. The dirty fries were a highlight with the fries being flavorful & cooked to a beautiful crisp exterior but soft interior. The pulled pork & barbecue sauce could have been their own meal. Again, perfect texture on the pork. Not tough, not stringy, it just melted in your mouth.The steak was meticulously seasoned & had a crust on the outside but the meat was cooked properly to medium inside. The green beans were excellent; tender without being mushy. The mashed potatoes were their own little bit of creamy, red-skinned heaven.The cheesecake was divine but the real callout was the crust which wasn’t dry or crumbly & didn’t detract from the cheesecake itself but melded into it and elevated the dessert to a new level.I had a raspberry mojito which was light & refreshing. They had a great drink selection available.Michael is a talented artist whose passion for food shines in every dish that he makes.“

“We had the most delicious brisket sandwiches one sliced and the other chopped, plus juicy tasty tender ribs, the meat just fell off the bones. The BBQ sauce was delicious too, but the meat stood out on its own. It was hard to choose.... Dip or not....We had to drop off a uhaul truck towards the left side of the restaurant and had absolutely no knowledge of the restaurant until we pulled in. It was about to close, but luckily we got our orders in on time because it was just absolutely delicious! Such a great surprise!I'm not sure if they had table service, but we ordered at the counter. The barn style atmosphere was cozy and perfect for our after moving appearance. It was my birthday and I was dreading having to settle for a chain drive thru restaurant after all the intense labor. It turned out to be a wonderful birthday-worthy dinner, with plenty of leftovers which I happily ate after a three hour drive, a shower and a nap.My review is from an August 2023 visit, so I'll have to go back to get a more detailed and an updated review with pics soon. ?.“

“If Texas Roadhouse and Black Bear Diner adopted a baby, this would be it.We flew in for the eclipse, and stopped here the night before. We came in about an hour before close. We were seated quickly and able to order right away.After ordering, we were brought out a basket of rolls. They were just alright. They were a little dry, and possibly had been baked earlier in the day.Three of us got chicken fried steak, and one got the avocado burger. The chicken fried steak was pretty tasty, but I asked for extra gravy.The waiter advised the mac-n-cheese was house made, not the boxed stuff. It looked like it probably was house made, but it tasted the same as boxed mac.The avocado burger was missing the avocado, but otherwise acceptable.Prices were fair. Wait staff was friendly. When we needed water refill, instead of refilling our cups, he brought out four more glasses, so now we had 8 cups of water cluttering the table. Kind of weird.Solid four stars. If we went back and had more time, I'd probably look for another restaurant.“

The appetizer was good, and the chips were k thin and brittle, making it difficult to get the spinach artichoke dip. The blonde brownie is always a hit. The service was spot on and pleasant. The atmosphere was decent. The restaurant was clean, the flatware was not. The music was a bit loud. It made following conversations difficult.“
