When I took my first bite, I heard angels singing, and Iâm pretty sure a rainbow appeared overhead. The patty was so juicy it could probably water my lawn, the cheese was melted to perfection like it was sculpted by a Michelin-starred welder, and the bun? So fluffy I wanted to use it as a pillow for a post-burger nap.
The secret sauce is so secret, I suspect itâs under witness protection, but whatever it is, it made my taste buds do the Macarena.
Now, letâs address the ambiance. The place was charmingly filthy, like stepping into a time capsule of a well-loved 1980s diner. It had a rustic charm that whispered, âYouâre here for the food, not the decor.â The TV was so loud my ears were bleeding, which added a unique challenge of trying to decipher whether it was the latest news or a chainsaw competition. Speaking of chainsaws, the owner was sitting at a table snoring like one, adding an unexpected soundtrack to my dining experience.
Despite all that, if you havenât tried Archyâs burgers yet, do yourself a favor and sprint, donât walk, to this culinary paradise. Just be warned: once you try one, no other burger will ever compare. Youâll be ruined for life⊠in the best way possible.

Best homemade burger and the fries are really good. Was passing through and decided to stop for a burger. Toasted buns and meat was cooked perfect. Added bacon to my cheeseburger. Everything was made fresh to order. Should of took a pic before tearing into it ?

Wonderful food at very reasonable prices. It doesnât look like much from the outside, nor is there any âyuppieâ or âhipsterâ ambience. But the food is amazing.I had the chorizo eggsâI swear there were at least four eggs scrambled with the chorizo. The refried beans actually had flavorâsomething lacking in 90% of Tex-Mex restaurants.I didnât order a hamburger, but you can order by weight, and the ones I saw emerge from the kitchen made me wish we werenât just passing through.My wife had Guisada Tacos and she loved the flavor of the marinated beef. They were out of barbacoa, another reason Iâd like to revisit.They also have an almost endless list of taco options.

Archyâs is the best place to go if youâre in town! Food is outstanding & all employees are great! This was our first time here and we felt at home. We want to give a big thanks to the owners.
