Really good chicken, just no ice cream machine I mean they have one but it's been broken for ever I know all the other ones I have been to offer free ice cream but not this one. 😔

Poor assembly ruined the sandwich.
I ordered a chicken sandwich for takeout with extra pickles and a slice of cheese. Unfortunately, the assembly was really careless. They piled the pickles, the cheese, and the hot sauce all on just one side of the sandwich. Because the cheese wasn't melted and the sauce was pooled there, that entire side of the sandwich ended up cold and soggy, making for a very messy meal.
Also, be aware if you order takeout: they don't put napkins in the bag. Apparently, you have to fetch them yourself from the front counter, which defeats the purpose of a grab-and-go order. The only positive was that they did remember to put the condiments in the bag, but overall, the lack of attention to detail made this a disappointing lunch. First time visit at one of their golden chick locations. Prices are a bit steeper. Might try again another location, if there’s some in Houston.

The only place in Cotulla to enjoy good quality Fried Chicken- only drawback is price price price!😐🙂 That being said-given a choice between Fast Food burger restaurants and the other eating establishments-Golden Chick is the best value for the Best Product on I-35 access and I'd be remisce if I didn't mention they do have 2 piece meal with side and roll for $7 making it the way to go in treating everyone to a satisfying meal!😋! Miss 1/2 price Mondays on 8 piece- please bring back! Yeast rolls simply the best there is!

Food was great and hot and the sweet tea was fantastic. The year roll was good but seemed to have been an old batch. It was hard on the outside and dry. Other than that my food was ready before I was done paying and was hot.

Food is awful! I ordered 2 piece fried chicken; got roasted. The chicken leg was the size of a pigeon! My husband ordered 2 piece white meat fried chicken. He got a thigh ( not white meat) and a wing. Signage says it comes with a breast and wing. We will NEVER stop here again!!!!!
Got my order wrong again. Didn't want gravy yet they decided to give cover my mashed potatoes and chicken in it. The lady forgot to give me my drink so I had to go back to pick it up and the soda fountain is off alot. Paid 12 dollars for 4 pieces of chicken essentially. The roll had a something on it that wasn't butter. Threw it away. Inside smelt bad too. Like sewage leak. Typical cotulla food
