Marios Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

I can honestly say this was the first time I’ve ever walked into a restaurant and not found a single thing to complain about — and that says a lot coming from me. Our first visit to Mario’s completely exceeded every expectation we had, especially being tucked away out in the middle of the desert.

From the moment we arrived, Janeli and Odalys provided exceptional service. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Every request was handled quickly and professionally.

Even the drinks impressed us. The fresh-brewed tea was easily a 10/10 — absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed Sprite and Coke, all perfectly served cold and fresh.

For appetizers, we ordered the Japanese Poppers, cheese sticks, and fried avocado, and every single item was outstanding. For our entrées, we had the chicken teriyaki and orange chicken served with steamed rice and vegetables, and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor.

It’s rare to find a place where the food, atmosphere, and service all come together so flawlessly, but Mario’s truly delivered. Thank you all so much for such an amazing experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for incredible food and exceptional service.

I love this place! The food is so yummy. I drive from odessa !! Wish it was open on sat. Prices are a bit high but the food is excellent ..

Greater greeted me was friendly atmosphere was kind of dingy. Restrooms are clean sat down to order sushi and was told they had a 45-minute wait that somebody ordered a big order I don't understand why you couldn't fit the little one role people in in between wish I could have tried the food.

The sushi is pretty good, but everything from the hibachi is mid at best. Barely seasoned, 10 lbs of rice, 2 or of meat. The staff is friendly, and it doesnt usually take long to get your food. Sushi in Crane.

The food for the most part was great. The Japanese Jalepano Bullets were phenomenal. But their take on cheese rangoons had absolutely no flavor. It surprisingly didn't even taste like the cream cheese.

The edamame was very good as well as the Japanese bullets but the Poke was warm which is very strange & off putting the combination fried rice was bland & the chicken very dry I get that places have off days but when both waitresses witnessed me & my wife swatting flies away from us the whole visit that’s the main reason we didn’t make it pass the appetizers

Husband and I are stationed around the septic tank of Texas, also known as West Texas. His coworkers recommended this place and I couldn't be more upset. The food is absolutely disgusting. They have 2 waitresses that are so inattentive it hurts, and God knows everything is way over priced. Not to mention you have to fight for your food and your life from the flies. Oh and I almost forgot....the inside of the building is hotter than the outside and its the middle of June.

Best sushi I have eaten in a LONG time! Everything I ordered off the menu was perfect. Will be going back again every time I go through Crane!

The food is okay but the service is TERRIBLE. Bought my daughter a kids plate and was yelled at when checking out because I finished the noodles that were left.

Worth the drive from Odessa...worth the drive from Alaska!! I found a GEM in this small town place with Big city Taste!! I will be back SO MANY TIMES!!!!

Usually hit or miss depending on what you get. Noodles taste like crane water. If you know you know. I guess most the dishes taste like crane water. I usually get the salmon and chicken hibachi plate. Every once in a while ill give the noodles a try but then I remember why I usually get the rice.
