Credeur’s Cajun & Home Cookin is a wonderful place to eat if you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. The country Cajun decor gives the restaurant a warm, charming feel, and the staff was both helpful and friendly throughout the visit. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend eating here to anyone looking for a great Cajun home-cooking experience.

We love Cajun food so this was a no brainer for us. We pulled up and the parking lot was full at 5pm on a Friday. Walked in and were immediately seated. I had boudin balls for my meal and they were awesome. Will order just the cheese filled next time because they were over the top. Everyone else ordered the fried shrimp basket and said they were very good. We will be back!!

The restaurant has changed alot since initially opening. It's a bit disconcerting to develop favorites only to return later and the item is no longer on the menu. Seafood was decent. However the etoufee, while expensive, was taste wise top notch. The internal layout of tables is not the best. The dining room feels cramped. There are no booths. Service was friendly and attentive.

The crawfish etouffee is the best anywhere. Dont miss our on the boudin balls for an appetizer. Those are amazing!
I stopped to eat here for the first time /last time friday evening and before we set down I ask the young lady if every thing was spicy being that it was Cajun food. And then when I ordered I ask what was on the mango chicken breast and she said "Pineapples and bell peppers. So I figured it was safe to order it. And the reason I was asking so many questions is because Im in Kidney failure and there are just some things I cant eat anymore. I wasnt trying to give her a hard time. So when my food arrived the the the sides were spicey the cabbage so didnt have cabbage in ir or sure not much it was mustly sausage. And the Chicken mango was spicy which I directly ask her. And the squash was spicy. The meat had Tomatoes pineapple and if they were bellpeppers they were cross bread jalapineo's. But anyhow after directly asking what was on the meal I ask for the check because I had my brother with me and had to pay for his meal. And when I recieved the check it had both meals on it. I would expected in a sitution like this. They would comp the meal but no they charged the full amount. But thats ok. Because it will be the last dollar they ever see out of my pocket.

This place is awesome. It would beat any seafood restaurant we have down in South Texas.
We got the crawfish and shrimp boil. It was awesome. My only complaint was that some shrimp were harder to peel. The boil had an awesome flavor. Just the right amount of spice. Had a decent kick to it.
The crawfish etoufee was amazing as well! Decent size plate.
We also tried the boudin balls. They were great as well.
Service was great as well.
Prices were very reasonable as well.

This may not be the best Cajun food, but it is the best I ever had. Jalapeño Boudin balls had just enough Jalapeño to taste but not overpower. The Prien plate was delicious, crawfish etueffe and 6 fried gulf shrimp. My wife had the chicken fried steak with green beens and collard greens. Not many places do collard greens well but they knocked it out of the park.
