This location used to be one of the best DQ’s in Texas despite being an older store. We came here two to three times a month. All that changed in the last two years and this location has gone down hill. It was all about the people who worked and managed this location in the past that made it great but those people are gone. We even gave the previous workers extra tips around the holidays. Now it is poorly run and they can’t even make a blizzard correctly let alone clean a table. Last visit they forgot one of the two ingredients order in a blizzard to go but charged for the extra ingredient. This visit they charged for two ingredients even though one ingredient comes with the blizzard in the price and one was xtra. Blizzard had the two ingredients but bottom 1/3 of cup had just ice cream and no mixings. When asked about charge Aletha could only say that is how we do it now and no ingredient is included in the price despite what the receipt shows. On top of it Aletha just abruptly stopped talking to us and rudely turned toward a customer coming in the door and asked if she could help them without ending our conversation. We waited and she came back to us after making the other customers ice cream but again she had no good answer for the double charge. No sense going on since you get the point by now this location is horribly run and managed now and it’s a shame. If you’re in the area, look into Merry Scoops in the Crockett Square to see if they have what you want for dessert, much nicer, friendlier and excellent service.
The restaurant is always clean and the staff are friendly. They seem to always have great specials going on so that you have a variety of food to choose from at a reasonable price. Today I had the Taco Basket and was great as usual...

Was very busy, but the limited staff did a great job working through it. Food was hot and the only issues were some asshat purposely flushed handfuls of hand drying paper towels into the commode. The other was the lack of parenting skills for small children using the Dining area for a playground.

Explain to me how a public restaurant a dairy Queen that is supposed to be fast food for the public denies public restrooms for public people. I took my 7-year-old child to try to go to the bathroom and got denied to use the bathroom because they don't service public people who do not purchase anything. What kind of fast food place does that mess.. Y'all should be shut down I guess you'd have been really mad in my 7-year-old would have had an accident and your floor and you would have had to clean that up. I will be making this viral on social media everywhere...

The food was all hot and fresh, which is a nice change from the DQ close to our house. The only thing I was a down was the tables were placed in a strange place and getting to up to refill drinks was challenging.

Bad service, food was very mid-tier. Our food took forever to be made and they gave us a notecard with a number on it as our table tent, instead of an official dairy queen table tent. Our food was brought to us without hurry and they served our friends food in take out bags, even though all of us ordered dine in.

While this is still not my favorite DQ to go to, we still pop in for a dipped cone, BUT sadly, today, even those depressed me! Ugh!!
Add that to the staff not being the friendliest, they don't have tater tots like all the other DQ's, and you have to have a key to get to restroom, so don't rush in if you have got to go!
It's definitely NOT your everyday DQ with high customer standards. And now with the sadness of these dipped cones, we'll have to drive to Palestine! They are great there! Burgers are fresh, and not squashed and poorly wrapped...
Something is just off about this DQ...
