Large sandwich was 4''freezers burnt tasting bar-b-q, hate to see small sandwich. Three day old beans.old dry bar-b-q. 10 dollar baby large sandwich. No I will not go back!

Quaint spot with great food and extensive menu. Has bbq, select Cajun specialties, and Tex mex food. I got the small chopped brisket sandwich with onions, jalapeño, and pickles as well as the boudin balls. Both dishes were great and I’d try it again.Service was great and plenty of room for seating.Parking: Looks like there’s a drive thru as well as open parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp.
Terrible barbecue, terrible service. Took forever and no one was even there... Asked for multiple things on the menu which they were out of. Then asked for lean brisket and the sandwiches were too fatty to eat. Specifically requested extra BBQ sauce on side. None provided. One napkin and fork for four meals. What a waste of time and money!

My husband & I stopped at Bubba's BBQ while traveling across this beautiful country & had the best BBQ of our lives! The staff & owners were very friendly & everything we ate was absolutely amazing! The brisket was lean, flavorful, cooked to perfection & simply delicious! The pulled pork was another favorite & equally as delicious. When it comes to the BBQ sauce, I loved the Sweet Pig Sauce... I found it to be the perfect combination of sweet & tangy. The fried okra was awesome, but the slaw... oh, the coleslaw! Chopped crispy crunchy sweet magical goodness! I loved the slaw!The etoufee was another excellent choice, rich with flavor & just enough cajun spice to keep you coming back for more. You definitely don't want to miss out on this delicious BBQ spot, It's sure to please. We ordered extra brisket & slaw to take on the road, and look forward to eating here again sometime in the future... Thank you for an incredible Texas BBQ dinner, Bubba's Smokehouse!

Wow! Don't miss this delicious family BBQ place just south of the stoplight. The brisket was moist, tender, well trimmed. Homemade beans, sweet potato casserole and pecan piebars are made with love and delicious! The prices are good, and way better value over fastfood. Clean, friendly and great bbq. Food is delicious. Loaded potatoes, stuffed burrito and pulled pork sandwich were very good.It doesn't look like much on the outside but it has a lot of character. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful surprise of some great BBQ. Loved the BBQ sauce. We shared a #1(two meat plate) Chicken was cooked perfectly and still moist. The brisket was lean and very tasty. Our sides were good home cooked pinto beans and fries, both great. I would have given them a 5 out of 5 but the bathrooms were subpar on the cleanliness. Overall the food and service were great. They are a little off the main intersection in Cross Plains but well worth your time and stop.
It was great, just a little whole in the wall. Nothing fancy. Great prices and awesome people. Cajun and BBQ.
