This our first visit to the area. We decided to try Tia Juanita’s for dinner. The fajitas were fantastic and so tender. The salsa was the best I’ve had and we topped it off with a wonderful bread pudding for dessert. Brent our server was outstanding! He checked on us regularly made sure we were taken care of.

So disappointed, ordered combo fajitasChicken was decent but we did get a bone in one of the pieces, steak was absolutely horrible, full of fat and gristle. They did not give us enough tortillas, cheese, pico, etc..:This was my anniversary dinner, not cool ???

The food is like any other mid sized restaurant, tasty and good portions. The service has been friendly. The restaurant seems a bit unkept and cold. Almost too cold to enjoy the meal. I'll go back but take my coat.

The negative reviews ALMOST deterred my husband and I and then we thought, “we’ve been servers before, we’ve dealt with Karen’s…” and came to see for ourselves. We were greeted and sat instantly, served instantly, and everything was smooth sailing. The top shelf margaritas were amazing, we got Oysters and Gator Bites for apps, both were amazing, and Crawfish for dinner. All 10/10 hot & fresh. We got the bread pudding and sop cheesecake to go, had them later on in the evening and both were good! The service was great, it wasn’t loud, we didn’t feel rushed. Overall I’m here to say, don’t let others negativity deter you, come see for yourself and hopefully your experience goes as well as ours did!

This place is a chain I guess but the atmosphere reads like an individual unit. The food, however, falls flat. The fried shrimp were excellent, but the fish doesn’t hold up to being fried.

I've never had such deliciously decadent food from anywhere! From the huge deep fried shrimp to the roast beef poor boy and more! It's just the best I've ever had period!

Husband enjoyed his gumbo. I got the fish basket it was disgusting had no flavor it was swai fish very cheep when looking it up it is very cheep fish the tartar sauce tasted like plain mayo . Fries were not hot. The slimy tasteless fish made me sick to stomach. Service could have been alot better. Will not be back. Manager did take fish off the bill.

Be wary of buying "generic" fish here. The fish basket is Swai fish and it is horrible and has no taste. They serve this fish because it averages 2 dollars a pound and is cheaper than most other fish. Just do a little research and you will not want to eat it either. As for me and my wife, I believe Tia Jaunitas is no longer in the places we will visit category. The manager did take the fish off the ticket for us and I do appreciate that. Just make sure you know what you are being served at this or any other restaurant. It will not change if we keep doing business with them. Our waitress was not the best either. Not the worst but could have been a little more attentive. Atmosphere here is great with awesome decor on the walls. But no, swai fish is not a good fish to be serving just because it is cheaper.
