The Ribeye and fried okra, house salad were excellent on today's special. Wife had the Chicken Fried steak with Baked Potatoe and a house salad . It was excellent but meat a little tuff.. Will be back again.

The food was fresh and delicious, the chicken fried steak and pecan crusted chicken were so yummy. The service was great and fast-for a party of 10 we had food in 30 minutes! We will definitely be coming back.

Food is really good. In my opionion the best in Cuero and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love the bacon wrapped greenbeans i always get those with my ribeye and shrimp. My steak is always cooked perfectly and i usually always have enough left for a light lunch the next day.. It has never taken long for my food to come out either. I have to edit i do haave a complaint . Ive been noticing they almost everyday close before there online hours list. I live next door and wanted to get an order and they were done closed at 730 pm and noticed priorly that it happens everyday but i called tonight just to make sure and they were done closed and walking out the door.

My wife and I ordered the Ribeye with shrimp plates. The steak was one of the best I've had! We also had their Cheesecake with apple and cinnamon which was very very good! Jana, our server, was delightful and Carlos, the cook, checked on us to make sure the food was to our satisfaction. Will definitely make this place a regular stopping point when we are in Cuero.

The first 2 times we tried this place it was really good food. This time the hamburger meat on the tacos was old burnt dry jerky. The fried okra was dripping grease. The cabbage almost liquid. No excuses made. Did not order another beer but she brought one anyway, then she charged me for it saying she was going to take over the place and make it better. I had to get our own utensils, napkins, wipe the table off. There was food and dirty dishes on the floor, tables all around, the place was a total mess. It was 2 in the afternoon with no other customers like before and this was unexcusable. Lack of work ethic. We had such high hopes but won't be back.

Food is excellent! Chef Carlos knows what he is doing!! All our food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful delicious meal!!!

20 minute wait to find out they didn’t have my drink. Then after 30 more mins they hadn’t even taken our order. Absolutely ridiculous. Went somewhere else and already have my food in front of me as I’m writing this review.

We are a group of six friends who gather near the holidays to celebrate our friendship and give thanks to God for blessing us with each other. We chose Aimees Bluebird Cafe because some of us had enjoyed this diner in the past. For others, it was a first. The food was great! Three of us had Bluebird Salad with grilled chicken, and it was LARGE and beautiful and very tasty. One had the pork chop special and enjoyed it very much. Two shared the Chicken Fried Chicken. It was HUGE and they also enjoyed their meal. The staff went out of their way to make our experience great, from delicious food and great service to taking pictures for us to remember our gathering. Highly recommend!
