Short staffed so took 15 minutes for waiter to come back after water/menus were served. Wrote in OpenTable that we were celebrating anniversary but host nor waiter acknowledged that or addressed the additional comment about suggesting menu items that were fully cooked since my wife was pregnant.

Every dish on Annam's menu is truly a winner. Presentation is beautiful and service is always top notch. The restaurant seems full every time we go.

Annam should have a Michelin star. We ate at Musafaar and Annam far surpassed them on all metrics. We'll definitely be back when we retire to Houston!

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside. The manager and waitstaff are helpful and very pleasant however drink and food delivery were slow and haphazard. There were 9 of us and some of us found our meals to be tasty and some of us found no special flavor in ours. It took about 15-20 minutes for our drinks to be delivered and our meals were also delivered in a piecemeal fashion: waitstaff asked who was having which dish, so did not employ a professional system of knowing the dishes ordered at each seat. Two dishes arrived after the rest of us had already finished our meal. The manager was very professional and recognized their shortcomings that evening. I cannot provide feedback on specific dishes because there is no menu available on their website, which I find very weird and disappointing.

Gorgeous restaurant serving gorgeous food. What better place to gather with my gorgeous friends than Annam? We enjoyed two different martinis: Ca Phe (coffee/espresso) and Lychee. To start, we had the fisherman's soup, which was light yet flavorful, and the pork jowl lettuce wraps which were rich, meaty, and complexly savory. We then had the Fried Whole Branzino, which was both visually and gustatorily stunning. It was crispy and well seasoned, with meaty flesh that was elevated by the bed of fresh vegetables and accompanying fish sauce. Also delicious were the Shitake Mushrooms in a Clay Pot, with its umami-rich sauce. Less exciting were the Shaking Filet Mignon (wonderfully tender, but it lacked flavor,) and the Skull Island Chili Garlic Prawns (underwhelming.) Dessert was mixed bag. I loved the Dubai Chocolate Mousse Cake but didn't care for the Coconut Pandan Mousse Cake. Service was excellent! Our server, in particular, was congenial, incredibly friendly yet professional and spot- on with her menu knowledge and recommendations. Our group was impressed, overall, and will be sure to return.

Annam is very quickly become one of the best, top five, restaurants in Houston. Standout dishes include the whole grilled branzino, stuffed squash blossoms, and shaking beef. Highest recommendation!

Our first visit, recommended by a friend. We were there with two other couples, and dined family style. Our server recommended three appetizers and helped us order the right amount for six. They were all excellent and we appreciated the advice on the best way to experience them. The spring rolls and wagyu bites in particular were great. We had five different entrees and they were all very tasty too. We had the steak, salmon, sea bass, branzino and mushrooms. The service was attentive but not rushed, we had the table all night.

The 4 Tables along the left side of restaurant are outside the core of the restaurant and are highly undesirable. They front an active construction site through large windows. This room needs full length curtains on windows or not to be used until construction is complete. Refuse any tables in this room. Otherwise an outstanding experience. During busy periods the restaurant should limit tables to 90 minutes if capacity is an issue for now due to construction; those tables are undesirable. Excellent restaurant and service other than this.

Delicious food, great service and lovely decor. Loved the seperate booths which give a more private feel and make the noise level more comfortable. Wonderful meal and evening!
