This is my favorite restaurant ever!!!! I’m obsessed. It is true authentic Thai food. They’ve got the best Pad Thai in the city of Houston. No one else can top here!! I can be blindfolded trying different places Pad Thai’s and figure out which one is Nara Thai’s. Their curry puffs remind me of when I lived in Malaysia. Everything is so good. This is THE best place to get Thai food. I could eat here everyday I love this place so much I could cry

Great spot for Thai food with a wide menu. We had crispy fried spring rolls, fresh rolls, Pad Kae Mao, Thai cashew nut with tofu and veggies, jasmine rice, and spicy basil fried rice. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. Drinks (Diet Coke and Cabernet Sauvignon) were solid, and the service was friendly. Comfortable décor and inviting vibe make it an easy choice to return.

Food was really great, staff were a bit unwelcoming. It wasn’t too busy either. Service should be improved. Hence 4 stars.

Nara Thai in Cypress has become one of my favorite spots for Thai food in Houston. The flavors are always bold and authentic from the curries to the pad thai, everything tastes fresh and full of depth. The restaurant itself has a comfortable, modern feel, and the staff are consistently welcoming and attentive. It’s the kind of place I can enjoy whether I’m grabbing a casual meal or bringing friends along. Definitely a spot I’m proud to recommend and one I keep coming back to.

So I was thinking of trying this place for a few months. I finally decided to make the 20 minute drive. The drive was worth it!!!! I ordered a few items. Tom Yum soup, red chicken curry, Thai chicken wings and pineapple chicken fried rice. WOW!!! Yummmmmmyyyy. The food is savory and decent portions. It did not take long to receive order. I will definitely be back with my hubby :p

I’ve been a regular customer since the days when it was Anothai, and I’m happy to say that Nara Thai still serves some of the most authentic Thai food around. The flavors are rich, balanced, and taste just like they should. Service is always warm, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, and everything is always clean and well-kept. It’s my go-to place for Thai food, and I always leave satisfied.

I got red curry and a side of green beans, both were amazing. Ill be back soon to try other stuff because wow that was yummy
As of 2025, they have reduced their curry portions by 50%. The portions feel more like a kids meal and not intended for an adult.
The price isn’t worth it when there are 3 other Thai options with a 5-10 minute drive of Nara.
The food is great. The portions are adequate. I also like the addition of the lunch special which adds soup and an egg roll!
