Cake Fine Pastry

This is the second time my friends and I have gone. We usually go really early in the morning and sit and talk for a while. The staff always makes us feel welcomed and we never feel like we are being rushed. The drinks are delicious. They have a white chocolate coconut drink that's so delicious 😋

The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a fun place. Great atmosphere. I had a yummy pumpkin muffin. At first glance, a person might think it would be hard to get back into the traffic from the parking lot, but that's not the case. I haven't had a problem, either because some nice person has let me in or I waited for a lull. So don't let fear stop you!

We have used Cake Fine Pastry for three different occasions. Every single time they knocked it out of the park and went above and beyond! Not only do they look absolutely beautiful, but they taste absolutely divine! Working with them was such a breeze, paid attention to detail, helped make suggestions and made each of the cakes come out to exactly the way we wanted it to look. I can’t recommend them enough… They are definitely our go to cake baker🤗🩷

The small gem of a coffee shop was recommended as a meeting place by a new business associate who's been going there for years, and if he wanted to keep it a secret I can see why.

Jerry and Liz have done an incredible job building and running a coffee retreat and have hired a team of professionals who understand customer delight, not just satisfaction. They're always happy to see me and they bend over backwards to insure my enjoyment.

Plum Coffee Shop is my designated meeting and relaxing place, and I've recommended it very highly to my friends and closest business associates.

BTW, if you just want to get-it-to-go, they have a drive-thru-with-a-smile window. Great coffee and tasty treats, polite and professional team, immaculate restrooms, pleasantly tranquil environment with WIFI. They are several coffee shops closer to home but for my dime Plum is worth the drive.

Ordered an Italian cream cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry filling. The cake was dry, there were very few strawberries, and the buttercream was too sweet, flavorless, and almost chalky; like nothing but shortening and powdered sugar. We would have been better off buying a cake from Walmart or making one ourselves.
I'm writing on behalf of my mother because she's too nice to leave a negative review. She doesn't even know that I'm writing this. I want to say that our experience may have been due to late notice, but even if that were the case I would at least expect to receive something edible. We're probably going to end up throwing it out with not even a quarter of it gone. ?‍?
I hope y'all hold yourself to a higher standard than this.

Along with the GREAT location and convenience of their drive thru, the coffee and eats are really surprisingly good. Crafted with care as the saying goes, coupled with pleasant fast service is a real treat. Very clean environ, and we get to support a hard working LOCAL biz that deserves it. You can tell, there's a VERY loyal local group that comes here on the regular.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience. For starters, when you Google the companies name, it gives you the main address on Barker Cypress, which is also a coffee shop, because of this I ended up ordering the cake since it’s close to my house. I called them and they took the order over the phone fine with no issues. The day of I arrive at the coffee shop to pick up the cake, once I get there they tell me I am not at the right place and they told me to go on the website and the main address is on there and that is the bakery where all the cakes are made. The main location is a place much further than I thought it would be. At this point I don’t have a choice since the cake was already paid for. I then drive to the bakery and get my cake. The cake from the outside looks totally normal. No issues whatsoever. Once I get home and cut the cake, it was a whole different story. The cake inside was dry like sandpaper. There was also no flavor whatsoever. I had asked the bakery to add some type of Chocolate filling so it would taste even better but unfortunately, the filling was nowhere to be seen or found. I dug around the cake and found a sliver of filling and mind you I also paid extra for this. Since many of my guests didn’t like and eat the cake we had tons of leftover. I also paid a decent amount of money for this cake. I strongly felt I could have gotten a much better cake for a cheaper price at HEB. This is my own personal experience.
