EVERYONE EXPERIENCE IS DIFFERENT. One pool table the bar is small ,small parking lot,no smoking inside but they have a patio out back with tvs , loud but can talk if you like to yell over music. The drink prices reasonable if you ask the Exxon across the street to park there he may be nice gives 2 hour minimum OTHER THAN THAT I LIKED THE PLACE NEVER SEEN CHILDREN IN A BAR BEFORE THAT WAS A FIRST FOR ME THOUGHT THAT WAS COOL TO BE HONEST NOT A LOT OF PLACES THAT WOULD ALLOW THAT IVE NEVER SEEN IT. THE PEOPLE THERE THAT IVE MET WERE NICE. I didn't know the bar was over 66 years old so yeah can't expect a lot of change there meant no offense just posted my experience I can't speak for nobody but my own experience I didn't eat any food so I can't say anything I saw a food truck on the side of the bar barbeque if I'm not mistaken and I didn't drink anything but a local at the bar informed me the drinks prices are fair that I agree on I'm not a drinker but they also offer soda and water other than that I thought the place was laid back and met some nice folks while there. It even asked was your bar kid friendly is why I even mentioned seeing a baby in a stroller letting people know that your establishment looked kid friendly that should be known kids welcomed but not past nine there are so many people who'd like to be able to go out and can't find a sitter your place would be recommended if somebody was looking for a bar near them where they can take a kid inside that's real cool and laid back not many like that anymore

The dj Ismael is amazing . Have been there a hand full of time even had a birthday party there . There is two bartenders Alyssa and Jerry ! Alyssa is amazing fast service and remembers ppl orders . Jerry no she is slow and has a very negative attitude. I had to wait 15 mins for a bucket of beer . She usually has a line just to order one beer .. she over serves people even had some of her friends being drunk and want to fight people. Jerry is very unprofessional and she needs to be replaced with someone like Alyssa to not have a long wait to get served a beer .. I haven’t been back to that bar since then and I’ve others tell me about Jerry and even her bad experience from a pervious bar . If she wants working there I would go and recommend others to go !

This bar is absolutely unpretentious; what you see is what you get. No need to try and be an authentic anything, yet it is as authentic as it gets for a good Texas dive. The place you can drink unbothered or find yourself a whole new set of friends with the regulars. And don’t let the initial silence or looks put you off as you walk-in, through the gruff exterior of many of the regulars, they’re as friendly as Texas gets; a real slice of Texas southern hospitality.
Nice little hole in the wall neighborhood bar. They've upgraded, very nicely, the back patio and backyard area. The staff was fantastic as well.

My wife and I visited the Country Corner last Friday. We found it inviting, but you had to make the first move, then we had 4-5 friends in no time. We spent time in the back yard and it wasn’t hot, the trees shaded us. We will go back soon.
