Dario's Steakhouse & Seafood

We were at Dario's for the Thanksgiving menu. The service was great. The bread at the beginning was forgettable (a Parker house roll or some sourdough would be better). For appetizers, we had assortment from apple salad to crab cakes very good (could always use more crab in crab cakes, pork souffle?? What made it souffle?). Entrees, we had everything from salmon to prime rib and all were very good. Desserts ranged from apple pie to cheesecake -- good except chocolate cake could have had more cake and less icing. The only time my whole family could be together and Dario's was a great choice.

Nice place.. great service. You can definitely run up a tab. It's a good place.. food was very good.

Service was exceptional, and the steak was tender, and delicious. Had a delightful dining experience.

We have been here many times and it's always excellent. Tonight just seemed to be a step above. The food, DRINKS and service were all exceptional tonight.

Asked for medium well. They cooked my steak medium. Asked them to cook the steak further and they burnt it.

Waiter was very polite and respectful just as expected and the food was more than delicious

First visit to Dario's. Celebrating our anniversary. Was looking for a high-end steakhouse since our previous favorite had taken a turn down. I have to admit the ribeye steak was one of the best I have had anywhere, very flavorful, tender, without gristle...cooked to perfection. My wife's snapper dish was excellent, moist and again very flavorful. Everything we tried from drinks, soups, salads and sides were very good. We highly recommend giving Dario's a try...you won't be disappointed.

As always, the service was outstanding and all five main dishes as well as sides & appetizers were delicious. Our only complaint is that our Colossal Shrimp Scampi pasta was too “lemony”. The lemon taste was overpowering and overwhelming.

We were seated in the bar, which was surprising, as we had a reservation!! It was very noisy and the restaurant was full. We sat for what seemed like an eternity, before we were finally greeted and offered cocktails. Some steps of service were missed. My son ordered the pecan crusted fish that was so heavy with pecans he could not taste the fish! Side order of mac and cheese was too milky and the broccoli was more than el dente'( under cooked!)! My daughter had a filet that was acceptable and I had the lamb shank that needed the sauce to develop more before it was served. We were not offed dessert before a slice of key lime pie was brought to the table, with a plate decorated for my daughter's birthday,was served! I had to ask for the dessert selection to be offered to my son and I! We declined as it was evident the service or lack there of, had concluded!!! I left a 20% gratuity anyway! A gentleman that did not identify himself as the Maitre d' touched the tables in the bar at the very end! Unfortunately, much too late for us!

We had a lovely dinner at Dario's Steakhouse. We had both seafood and steaks for our party of four. We don't care for the avocado pancake but that is personal preference. The Dario's salad was excellent as well as the steaks, my salmon and hubbies snapper.

This was my wife birthday dinner. The service was really great, both our meals were excellent and received our food after ordered in a reasonable time.

Great food and service. Large party behind us were very loud so noise level was not as quiet and easy to talk as I would have liked.

Great meal. Food was good. Served fresh and hot. We shared a steak, had an appietiser and desert. We were concerned by reading reviews of poor service but that was not our experience. Service from host, server and wait staff was good. Could not say great but not at all bad. Our meal was at noon on Sunday. There was a brunch menu and a dinner menu. Because it was sunday there was no lunch menu. Overall, our experience was very good. Made our birthday celebration a memorable occasion.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed it. However, this past time when we took another couple with us, it was extremely disappointing. Three of us ordered a soup, and everyone commented that it was barely warm. The entrees were lukewarm as well. The entrée special was the biggest disappointment. The fish was dry and overcooked, and the two shrimp that came with the fish, were also overcooked and rubbery. The Parmesan risotto was very gummy, and there was little to no sauce that came with the entree. As well, the vegetable they said came with the entrée was not what was served. For the outrageously high price they charged, it was completely unacceptable. I did not comment on my entrée that evening, as I did not want to make my guest uncomfortable, but I did email them the next day with my comments, as I wanted to give them an opportunity to respond prior to me posting anything publicly. It has been 48 hours and I have not heard from them. I'm not sure that we will go back. For the price we paid the quality was not there, and I think during these times, if I'm spending that much money at a local Cypress restaurant I want to enjoy it and feel good about it. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Dario‘s

Had a birthday here and very disappointed. My husband brought a cake and asked them to set it in the back. Later two different times at the table next to me, the waiter tells my husband about a cake cutting fee $3 a person. Also, at the end that they don’t split checks…. I think ALL of that should have been discussed before hand on the phone and/or when my husband handed the cake in the very beginning about the fees. I understand policy but do it in advance so the party is aware…. Or during the reservation. Not in front of me…. Very awkward. Also, some of the steaks we ordered were overcooked. We got there at 7:15 for reservation, and left at 9:18 pm very long time to get entrees. Also, had a child with me and she did not get a kids menu, like at all nor offered one. Beautiful restaurant and intimate, but my experience was not a good one. Hope this helps.
