The service was genuinely good the staff was polite and attentive throughout my visit. The restaurant itself is average in terms of atmosphere and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the flavor of the chicken was disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations. While I don’t plan to return, I can say the service was not the issue.

8/9/25 Updated Review. I am sorry to say I can no longer give this location a good review. This location did not put two of my items in my to go order. I drove the 30 minutes home and the 30 minutes back once this was noticed. The employees once told the mistake took it upon themselves to argue with me about the missing items. I am not that desperate that I would waste an extra 30 minutes of my day, my gas and time to drive all the way back to scam your restaurant out of food. I cannot believe the treatment I just received. It was completely unprofessional.
Nothing fancy but always good food. Have had just about everything on the menu and like it all. Restaurant was clean and the food area looked clean from what I could see.

This is the second time coming to this el pollo loco and being high disappointed. The first time over a month ago I ordered food and got home items were missing from my bag. I called as I do not live close and wanted to provide the information as I paid for things I did not get. Nobody spoke English and finally after calling 4/5 times I got a hold of the individual that assisted at the window and was able to come back another day for items at no cost. Fast forward to today; I sat at the window for over 5 mins waiting to order. Kept being told hold one 1 second. I finally order and arrive to the window to pay. Juan <—- who states he is a manager came to the window and I asked to add an extra item. Upon realizing the price I asked for him to take it off. There register at the drive through appeared to not be working as he had to keep walking all the way to another register in the front. Upon asking for my card k said I would prefer you take the item off so I can know the price and make sure you are charging me appropriately. Juan proceeds to say OH MY GOSH and closes the glass window infront of me. He comes back and I ask for the manager that he claims to be. I said not with that customer service. He continued to argue back with me A MANAGER instead of apologizing for his snarky comment. I left and did not get the food or pay due to the horrible customer service and attitude. El Pollo Loco needs to hire more professional individuals. As a manager I would expect an entire different level of professionalism. Will not be back there.

The place is super cold, service was great, the food here is super bland and doesn’t taste good unless you add salsa to it or something. The drinks were good though! Prices as well are good

This place used to be good, but looks like it's declined from its former glory. We ordered for pick up and when it got to our house the chicken quesadilla was cold, and in general the chicken itself on all our orders was cold. When this place was still new the food was great, but it's changed for the worse. This is the second time this has happened ordering take out, so I'm thinking this is now the standard for this place. Also, the taco bowl seemed to have shrunk and looked like they ran out of the cheddar cheese... Never again.
