Purchased the catfish Poboy , it was horrible.. I'm sure their lying about it being catfish because it didn't taste like any catfish I ever ate... the quality of the bread wasn't good either...just nasty all the way around.. I will not be back.

I can’t say enough good things about Fish & Chicks! This place has become my go-to spot in Cypress, Texas and for good reason. From the moment you walk in, the customer service is exceptional - the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about your dining experience.
Now let’s talk about the food - it’s simply impeccable. Every dish I’ve tried has been phenomenal. The chicken and fish pasta is a perfect blend of flavors and cooked to perfection. The grilled catfish and grilled salmon are always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and grilled just right. If you’re in the mood for something heartier, the Chicken Poboy is absolutely amazing - crispy, flavorful, and generously portioned.
The chicken dumplings are some of the best I’ve had anywhere, and the fried rice is the perfect complement to any meal. Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed by anything on their menu. The quality and consistency are remarkable.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Cypress, do yourself a favor and stop by Fish & Chicks. The combination of outstanding food and top-notch service makes this restaurant a true standout. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

Let me tell you I am so happy this place exists, the shrimp po boy is my go to for sure. I’ve been here maybe over 30 times in the past year and I gotta say with all the other places I’m a local to with very good food this has to be the most consistent tasting and quality control I have witnessed with my tastes buds baby. The shrimp is always fresh and very good and crispy (never a saggy soft shrimp), the sauce is very good and on point, and the lettuce and tomato is always fresh. Also the buns they use are very good. My only draw back and why I put 3/5 on the atmosphere is that this place closes so early and is not open late. In my opinion this place should and least be open till midnight and 3am on the weekends. Get some flags/banners and let people know “now open till midnight” or “now open late” and put it by the road. Or get some signs saying “best po boy in town” and put these signed by the road, it’s barker cypress people are definitely gonna see it and it’ll attract more business. Only reason I say this is because I live right behind the place and I definitely think staying open let would have me going there more and get potentially new business flowing through the door from individuals who work late. Regardless, AMAZING FOOD YALL!!!

The fried shrimp po-boy was the best po-boy I have ever had ! Everything was delicious and he even gave my mother in law a free entree to try! The girl up front was also very friendly. Truly made the experience even better. I would drive the 40+ minutes to come back

Picked up take out today. Shrimp Poboy with onion rings and a popcorn shrimp dinner. Oyster poboy was terrible. The bun wouldn’t cover the contents of the sandwich due to too much lettuce and tomato. It fell apart. The sandwich had 4 oysters that tasted like burnt flour. Breading was too heavy and they were seriously over cooked. Onion rings were bad with soggy breading that fell off. Popcorn shrimp had too much breading and were overcooked. Shell fish require very little cooking or they become tasteless with a rubber like texture. Frozen crinkle fries were a waste. We threw both meals in the trash. Won’t go back.
