Updated 1/2/25: New menu in place and kid drinks are no longer included and if you don't want chips then its $2 extra. So a kid slider with a drink comes out to $14.95! A Grilled Cheese comes out to $11.95. Absolutely insane.

Great place off the beaten path. Large and great to take kids when nice. Fresh food! My only issue was last night after waiting 5-7 minutes for my drink the server came and told me they were out of the stuff to make it. Then after 25 minutes from ordering food was told they were out of that item as well. I believe there was little communication happening at that time. As most people would give the place 1-3 stars because of that. I feel that 4 stars was still in order as the server stayed relaxed and the food was amazing.

Our school staff had a great Holiday Party at The Barn!!! The staff had every detail ready for our arrival! The uniqueness of The Barn's venue and your wonderful staff's Texas styled hospitality made our experience one to remember! We especially wish to thank Ms. Andi for great communication skills and attention to detail in planning and setting up our event! Thank you for a great evening event!

We look forward to the next opportunity to visit The Barn!

Good food and atmosphere for the family. Asked if they could add a $5 dollar charge to my bill and give me cash for their claw machine. The bar said they couldn’t do it. Kind of strange how this wasn’t possible if I was paying for the cash. Even offered to pay/tip extra for the convenience. Anyway, overall good food and standard service. Heaters outside don’t heat sufficiently enough to sit comfortably on a cold day. Overall nice spot for a meal.

The Frio is a fantastic, laid back fun place to have lunch or dinner with friends. The food was good. Our waitress was amazing. Highly recommend.

We had a big group of 13 and Kendra took an excellent care of us! The chicken fried steak, Mac and cheese, and grits plus the peach cobbler were all delicious.

Found this place by a Google search for burgers and playground
while there is no official playground they have a large outdoor play yard for kids of all ages and sizes 😊😊. They have small beach balls 🏀 and a giant connect 4 game . We went with 2 young kids and they had a blast. The food was delicious and the service was even more than we expected. Above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even with 2 little kids in tow. I ordered the Luckenbach Chicken Sandwich and my nephew got the Frio burger 🍔. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.

Invited to the new menu roll out. All delish!
Ribeye egg rolls and yummy poppers for apps. The redfish had a lite cream sauce. So good. The braised beef was like home made!
Took the peach cobbler home to enjoy later.

It felt like one of those restaurants from Hell’s Kitchen before Gordon Ramsay showed up.
We’re a family of three (2 adults and a 10-month-old). I ordered a kids’ slider with a side of broccoli, specifically asked for no seasoning. The burger came out fine, but the broccoli was so salty even adults couldn’t eat it. My grilled quarter chicken was burnt and overly crispy, and the potatoes were unevenly cooked, some soft, others crunchy like apples.
The only thing that actually tasted good were the kettle chips. Staff was friendly, but for the price, the portions and quality just weren’t there.

Lucky enough to get to try their new menu items tonight. Everything was fantastic. The braised ribs were my favorite. Cadillac Rita was top notch. I can't remember the name of the app I likes best but it was almost like a Philly cheesesteak egg roll. The deserts were amazing. The pecan pie! The banana bread pudding..omg!
