Grato Italian Restaurant

Bought a slice of tiramisu, and there was a significant amount of black mold at the bottom of the slice. We didn’t realize until we’d already eaten a few bites. We showed them the mold and sent it back. They offered to replace the slice but we declined because if the slice is moldy, im sure the entire cake is old. We asked them to refund the cost of the slice, they hesitated for a bit, then quickly agreed. It’s only 7$ , but it really bothered me that we had to ask them to refund the cost of the cake after we literally ate mold.

The food was just okay, but both my husband and I had stomach aches after drinking the soda. We’re not sure what was in the soda, but it didn’t taste right. There was also an unpleasant smell inside the restaurant, and it was a bit hot, which made the experience less enjoyable. Unfortunately, we don’t plan to come back .

Haven't been there several times, had various Italian dishes that started with garlic knots and olive oil. Didn't see anyone having garlic knots on this visit. Bought a veggie pizza to go, when I got it home and opened it was completely black with sliced black olives. I could barely find a couple of specs of onion or green pepper. I took 35 slices of black olive off of the pizza. Definitely will not go there for pizza again.

Grato catered an event for us, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! The Chicken Alfredo was a standout—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Jeff, the owner, was incredibly professional and easy to work with from start to finish. You can tell he truly cares about quality and customer experience. If you're looking for amazing Italian food and top-notch service, Grato is the place. Highly recommended for both dining in and catering!

Saw Grato as I was craving Italian food. My dish was ok a little on the bland side my son enjoyed his pizza the athmosphere is very nice. Did ask what type of Italian food if northern or southern as there is a difference Grato is northern. Will I be back of course I will I’ll try out more dishes and try other dishes. Service was great!

The reviews are great which is why we came. Unfortunately the food was mediocre…..baked ziti was just pasta, sauce and cheese with no meat whatsoever for $15. My eggplant parmigiana was completely mushy 🫠. The peach bellini was all artificial ingredients with not a speck of peach anywhere in the drink.

For appetizers we had the caprese salad, which was great. We also had stuffed mushrooms and it was just mushrooms and cheese….nothing stuffed about them 🙃

I am absolutely amazed. We needed to kill time and picked this place on a whim. The food was absolutely amazing. Service timing was just right and our server was the sweetest.
We spent $60 and got a pasta dish, a kids dish, an extra large pizza, and a dessert. Every single penny was well worth it. I can’t wait to go again. 10/10 highly recommend.

oh...my...lord, this was perfection on a Tuesday afternoon! Lets start off with our waitress, Sarena. Absolutely knowledgeable about the menu and knows what to offer to show a range for the menu. Quick for refills and requests, loves to offer quality service!

Next, the menu: Nice range of choices without being overdone, staying within the normal Italian set, but giving great consistency with options. Low prices for what you get, realistically.

Plate 1: Appetizers - sampler - mozz sticks, raviolis and fried mushrooms - 9$ and with their awesome marinara, couldnt have been presented at a better temp. Im an idiot though, and didnt let the mushrooms breathe properly before taking a bite. Its fried, its hot. These were done perfectly, without extraneous grease and oil dripping off.

Plate 2: Pasta alfredo with Shrimp: Two words, Simplistic perfection. The shrimp was PERFECTLY cooked and FRESH. The noods were *chef's kiss* and the sauce? It tasted like... a Mama's old recipe from the motherland would. Had the basics, done right. Entrees come with a basic caesar salad, and the WHOLE salad is sauced, not a leaf untouched it seemed!

Dessert - Creme Brulee: For me, it was just the right sweetness, nice and thin top, but good and crispy. The strawberries tasted as fresh as they literally could have. There may be a hidden orchard under the business, not sure.

Extras: Theyve got these rolls/garlic knots that will absolutely blow you away! make sure you get em with the vodka sauce dip!

The owners of this establishment know what to provide to give all of their customers, even randoms on a Tuesday afternoon, an at home taste and feel of Italy and I couldn't have been happier

Love the Parmesan Chicken and the pizza as well. Those two food items are my favorite. I order it often. I'm certain everything is so good but so far that's what I've had. Their salads are pretty amazing too. The beautiful wall paintings are authentic, from Italy. They cause my attention so I asked the waiter. Very impressive.
