This is our favorite brunch spot, they have a very friendly waitstaff. The coconut lattes are simply amazing, this place is a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants brunch with a bit of Cuban influence.
I would be surprised to learn that this café is turning a profit with just six hours of operations daily. They aren't open yet when I get to the METRO station right outside their storefront, and then closed when I return there from work. That's not even one full shift. And they're closed on Monday? Are they deliberately trying to avoid the waves of pedestrian customer prospects swarming the area outside? People who want a morning coffee on the way downtown and...
