I had been wanting to try this Cuban restaurant for some time! My husband and I finally tried it and we will be back. The food was good and fresh. We ordered chicken and beef empanadas, guava pastries and a chicken and beef plate. Nice portions, the pastries were super flaky and yummy. We can’t wait to go back!
I have been there twice and I've had the Cuban sandwich and I've had the Cuban signature dish of tangy pulled pork served with a side of white rice with black beans and fried sweet plantains. I also had a Cuban tamal. If you've never had one before, it's made from fresh corn and not from corn flower. In both case the food was on point. I tried the Bistec de Palomilla and the Lomo Saltado. The flavor was okay, but the beef in both dishes was pretty chewy and not very tender. The service was friendly, the vibe was nice, but the meat could definitely be better.
