House of Pies Restaurant & Bakery Cypress

for starters i stopped by cause i was in town, it was on a Monday so it was a bit slow, i assumed that because of that my server wouldn’t be gone as much but i was wrong. when i got my food i realized my order was missing a couple of things and i waited a while before she came to check up on me and once she did i had basically already finished my meal. the food overall wasn’t bad so i wasn’t entirely disappointed. however i wanted to say to BEWARE when paying, my credit card info was STOLEN because i was careless and let the server walk away with my card because she said the card reader wasn’t working. i don’t leave reviews if i have a bad experience but because this was a serious matter i wanted to publicly let everyone know that they should be careful because this happened from a server there!

Came in w some family last week just for coffee and dessert. We are regulars here and really liked our waiter Noah. He was very friendly and enjoyed chatting with him. We could tell he was good at his job and knew the menu. The restaurant was busy but he still took his time with us and gave great service. As usual I will be back thanks!

We came in for lunch today we had this server named Noah he was one of the best servers we ever had. Not only was he polite and a very efficient server but he was quite handsome too. We definitely recommend asking for Noah and the food was pretty good too.

Sadly, we got the worst experience today.
I ordered the 3 appetizer combo, and the fried pickles were just the skin thrown in batter and it looked so terrible, and the cauliflower was also crumbles of whatever they throw in the batter. I showed the picture of the website to the manager, they did apologize. My husband order also didn’t come complete. We had to ask other servers to get our server twice, he never checked on us , or on our food. The place wasn’t busy, and it was not close to closing either for the food to be that bad. Lastly, I asked for hot chocolate and they brought it without the whipped cream, so I asked for some, they said they were out of whipped cream, at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday. House of Pies is out of whipped cream. Nobody seemed to care to be honest.

Im so glad we stopped here. We have been traveling since November 17th eating all over the outskirts of Houston and this was the best meal we have had. The service was awesome and our food was delivered perfectly. If I’m in the area again we will definitely return.
