This was my first visit to a Jersey Mikes - it was great! Ordered the Original Italian. They sliced the meat fresh and the bread was great. Isiah made our sandwiches. He was very patient and friendly.

I’m a big sandwich connoisseur so I don’t rate lightly. But when I say this is one of the better sandwiches I’ve had in a LONG time. I arrived for a curbside order way early and not only was the sandwich ready for me…but they brought it out to my car within less than 60 seconds of me checking in on the app.
As for the actual sandwich, I don’t even know where to start. It was well oiled and dressed. It had a ton of meat on it and I didn’t even select the extra meat option so I can only imagine how much meat that would come with.

We come to this location a lot but today was the worst experience. There a minimum of 5 people on shift at the moment but only one girl making sandwiches with a line of people. I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be a good experience when I saw a family waiting for their sandwich when we walked in and almost all the employees were standing around doing nothing. My husband ordered a hot sandwich and the poor girl who was the only one helping customers politely pointed out that there was a hot sandwich that needed to be made but no one helped her. I saw three girls look at her while she was making 3 different sandwiches. On top of that there was an employee out of uniform wearing sports attire making food in the back. Also during this one of the girls was “sweeping” while chatting with friends that came in. The girl who made all of those sandwiches needs a raise. This type of service is horrible.

I went here this evening for the first time and honestly, I wasn’t impressed. All the employees were just standing around. Someone asked what I wanted, I told him, and he just stared at me. Then another person came over and asked the same thing, so I repeated my order. I asked a few times how the process worked since I’d never been there, and no one really explained anything. When it came time for toppings, I asked if they toasted the sandwich before or after, and she just said, “We can toast it now.” Then she asked if I wanted their special—I reminded her I’d never been here and they weren’t exactly being helpful. Overall, they weren’t very welcoming. So if you decide to go, hopefully you already know what you want. I ordered turkey & Swiss on the rosemary parm bread..it was okay.

My first time trying this place and it was just... ok. I ordered the chicken cheese steak and there's only meat and cheese on the sandwich. No toppings, barely any sauce. My boys split the Chipotle chicken. They started out loving it but then realized the toppings were not well distributed through the sandwich. The sandwiches are ok, but for $35 for one and a half sandwiches, I expected way more. Chips and stick doesn't even come with the sandwich. That price is astronomical for basic sandwiches!

I'll start by giving credit where it's due: the sandwiches made by Jersey Mike's are really good.
But my review goes downhill from there.
I've patronized Jersey Mike's twice now - the second time was the Barker-Cypress location in Cypress, TX, and the first was the Fairfield location in Cypress, TX. I learned the following from these two visits:
1. Sandwich construction is streamlined for cold meats because its workflow is very similar to Subway's.
2. Sandwich construction for grilled/hot meats, however, becomes a nightmarish quagmire if the order doesn't simply involve standard components included in the sandwich. Because I always want fresh veggies on my sandwiches, I requested lettuce, tomato, onion, etc., and the ordering process took forever, as did sandwich construction. If Jersery Mike's actually reads reviews to learn from them, they should seriously consider doing what Subway does with their hot sandwiches; allow their customers to customize their toppings in the same line as their cold sandwiches.
3. Jersey Mike's employees get grumpy when asked to customize hot sandwiches. And I don't appreciate that.
4. Jersey Mike's employees don't know their own menu - when I paid for my Big Kahuna Cheese Steak the woman kept referring to chicken so I said, "but ma'am, I ordered a Big Kahuna Cheese Steak", and she responded, "I know. It has chicken". So I looked again at the menu and, in a friendly voice said, "but ma'am, I ordered a #56". While correcting her mistake she made a snide comment which I've since let roll of me like water off a duck's back - but again, I didn't appreciate it.
5. Their only sides are potato chips, which represents a huge improvement opportunity for this entire market because Jersey Mike's, Subway, Schlotzky's, etc. all do this. Whichever sandwich company expands their selection of sides first (french fries, onion rings, etc., etc., etc.) will dominate the market until the others catch up. Mark my words.
6. Speaking of things I don't appreciate about Jersey Mike's Subs, while tasty, they're grotesqely overpriced. THEN, they expect a tip. When was the last time you tipped at McDonalds, In'n'Out, Whataburger, KFC, etc.? I SAY NO TO TIPPING FOR FAST FOOD.

I had previously visited a Jersey Mikes location that completely ruined my order. I came to this location off barker cypress and 290 on friday and the worker there Avlin, as well as the other team members, were very friendly and quick in preparing my order. This was probably by far the best sandwhich I've gotten from a jersey mikes location and I ordered 6 total for our family. All were made to perfection!
