Had dinner yesterday w my family after the airshow and it was the best bbq ever. From the brisket and turkey to the sides (mashpotatoes, creamed corn, green beans and macnchz) it was all delicious and great portions. Even their tea is good. Wish they would open one in Katy. The atmosphere is nice and staff is great.
Our regular Killen's BBQ is in Pearland. Was near the Cypress location recently. So, I stopped in for lunch and some take-out.
Same great BBQ at the Cypress location. But not the same great atmosphere because of the service. Like some others, my order was missing an item. This was easily corrected. More challenging was the noticeable lack of friendliness at the Cypress location. The staff at the Cypress location were polite. What just wasn't there...

When I compare it to the original location in Pearland, it is disappointing.
I selected the 2 meat plate (brisket and jalpeno cheese sauage with a extra 1/4th pound of brisket).n My total was 37.80.
In terms of technical merit, the brisket was done perfectly. I had a fresh brisket unwrapped when I went to the counter. It had a nice jiggle when it was placed on the cutting board. The problem was...
