Documenting your interpretation of the occurrence is your right. However, no threats were made and I would encourage you to stick to facts. It’s hilarious that you took a man telling you to be respectful as a threat. There’s no reason to ever step foot in your establishment when gongcha is operational and professional. I also will not be responding after the information we have received on your business practices. You should be mindful of how you treat employees and customers. I come here frequently and bring friends constantly. This last time I brought a friend I tried the strawberry matcha. I immediately realized the drink tasted NOTHING like matcha and tasted like pure SALT. It was also a huge portion of my drink. I took it to the front and the girl said she can’t do anything because I drank out of it. I explained that I wouldn’t have known how it tasted unless I tried it. I was later told to call Ricky ( the manager) so I did.
I am so shocked by the experience I had speaking with Ricky. I calmly explained what happened and immediately was met with a huge attitude. He said that the matcha that’s on the strawberry is not real matcha and it is cream. I told him that if you name a drink matcha then it is understood that it is matcha. I also told him that I do not believe the drink was made correctly because my friend and I only tasted a heavy SALT taste. I asked to speak to someone else because he couldn’t remain professional and he refused. I asked for the corporate number or info and he said kept asking why. I said because of the treatment I am getting from him. He said I’m not God and he will not give me the number. My husband and I were completely stunned by his behavior that we started recording. He continued to say that i wasn’t God and that i don’t have the right to speak to anyone else regarding the matter. He also said why should he give me the number. I explained because I was a PAYING customer and he was treating me badly. He continued yelling at me and telling me he wasn’t giving me a refund. I told him that I NEVER once asked for a refund. I just asked for a resolution. I asked him if he was the owner and he said “I’m not going to tell you”.
He continued yelling over me and refusing to give me the franchise information or the owner information. I don’t complain frequently but I paid $9 for a SALT tasting drink. Then to deal with how TERRIBLE they treat a paying customer that has gone there for YEARS is very shocking.
I recommend going to GONGCHA. They have MUCH better tea and very professional staff. I’ve never had a drink I didn’t like there and they are very friendly. Please do NOT spend your money where paying customers(of years) are treated this way. I’ve never experienced anything like it.
My husband overheard the call and called back to speak to Ricky because he was so shocked of the way he was speaking to me. Again, go to gongcha. They have the BEST boba on the area.

Every time I get boba tea here it’s always good. They have claw machines at the front and right now they are doing the Pokémon theme cups which are really cool. It’s close to my place so it’s super convenient as well. I recommend😌
