When I entered the Restaurant it was empty. I was the only patron. I ordered a Chicken Biryani. Apparently these folks think Chicken Pulao is Chicken Biryani🤣. I asked for the Check. It came with an added 20% Gratuity😒. If you wanna eat Biryani, this is definitely not the place!!

Placed a takeout order to be picked up at 1800, arrived at 1750, didn't get my food until 1830. No apology or explanation. Clearly no respect for the customers time. I won't be back.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and was blown away! How I just came across it I have no idea. Finding a good Indian restaurant is always hard and Kurry Walah takes the cake. The saag paneer was mouthwatering as was the raita and naan. My parents ordered the mushroom takatac, lamb kadai and bullet naan. Every dish had so much flavor and cooked to perfection. The protein was tender and the vegetables were not over cooked. To add to a fabulous meal the service was phenomenal! The gentleman that waited on us was kind and funny. My parents have lots of dietary restrictions and he was knowledgeable of what was in all of the dishes and was happy to answer their questions. An all around enjoyable evening. I will be trying the garlic naan next time as the smell coming from another tables was making me consider taking some to go.

Had the buffet at the end of lunch shift, it was okay everything was just too old though. Need to try individual meals, the garlic naan was phenomenal.

Excessive onion in everything. Also 20% gratuity was added for 4 people. I have not seen anyone adding gratuity for 4 people.

It is very expensive compared to what they offer. They charge $20 for buffet which just has 15 items. People can spend $5 more and eat unlimited food at Maharaja Bhog. Where the food is more tastier.

I don’t usually write reviews; normally I am content just rating businesses. But this place is so friggin good, I feel compelled to write a review letting people know.

Everything I’ve had here has been just off the charts good! A five star rating isn’t even accurate. Google needs to make a special sixth star just for Kurrywalah.

And I don’t even know exactly how to describe how great the food is. Like, mere words from a mortal being wouldn’t do this food justice. I love Indian food (and there are a couple other Indian restaurants in NW Houston/Spring that are excellent), but Kurrywalah is on a completely other level.
