Apparently the family that owns Marvino's now hosts family-related events in the restaurant, so you'll have to put up with a noisy (PA) environment, slow service, etc. Had a party of 5 for a birthday celebration right next to the hosted event, so it was noisy the whole time, service was very slow - not what I was expecting at all.

Had dinner here and it was disappointing, bisque was thin and salty, snapper and vegetables was not an improvement, and the peach cobbler was awfully dry .... The service became sparse when other customers arrived, very disappointed, expected so much more.

We went for Houston Restaurant Weeks. I ordered the wedge salad, filet and tiramisu. The steak was cooked perfectly. Not much of a fan of the sauce on it. Butter would have been better. Very disappointed in the salad. I love a good, ice cold, crisp, wedge salad. This was one of that. Room temp and the dressing was pretty much just mayonnaise with a bit of very mild blue cheese in it. The dessert was good, but not much of it. Very small portion.
