Please make sure you double check your order EVERYTIME! This restaurant consistently messes up my order and forgets to include things I've requested. When you call, the manager will usually compensate you, but WHY should the manager have to?
WHY do people NOT take pride in their jobs and ensure everything is correct for customer's orders? It seems like one of the simplest things to do.

I would like to share my experience today at McDonald’s Elyson (Sunday, Dec 7 at around 3 PM). I don’t usually complain, but this situation was too much.

About two weeks ago, I placed a curbside order of chicken nuggets (around $25). When my dad picked it up, we realized they didn’t include any sauces, not even BBQ. We had no sauce at home, so the food couldn’t be eaten. I called the store, and the manager I spoke with (Hispanic male, also on duty today) apologized and told me he would issue a $25 credit.

Today, I went in to redeem that credit. I spoke to the same manager, and he confirmed he remembered our phone conversation. He stepped away to talk to his staff, then walked to the back. The cashier then told me the manager would only give me a 10-piece nugget. I explained that this was not what we agreed on and asked to speak with the manager again, but he never came back out.

The staff member assisting me then said, “Do you want the 10-piece nuggets or no?” At that point, it wasn’t even about the $25 anymore, it was about how poorly the situation was handled. I tried to talk to him for several minutes, but he insisted he could only offer the 10-piece.

I stepped aside to call my husband and came back a minute later. A different staff member was at the counter, and when I asked for the previous employee’s name, he refused to give it to me. Another staff member called him over and said, “Let’s go, don’t mind her,” and they both walked away and went into the kitchen, leaving me with no one to speak to. I did hear someone call him “Manuel.”

This was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, and this experience was the complete opposite.

This McDonald’s has the friendliest staff and is always spotless. The background music creates such a calm and comfortable atmosphere, and someone even checks in at your table to make sure everything is okay. This location has become my favorite McDonald’s, and I always feel genuinely comfortable dining here.

The wait time at this McDonald’s was ridiculously. long. There were two other people waiting one in line to order and another waiting for pickup while I had already ordered ahead on the mobile app. When I arrived, there wasn’t a single employee in sight, yet I could hear them in the back chatting as if there weren’t three customers standing there waiting. I ended up driving off and leaving the food I had already paid for because I wasn’t going to wait any longer. I went to the McDonald’s on Fry and West Rd instead, and they had the exact same order ready in less than two minutes.

They take forever for curbside pickup. Currently on minute 16 of waiting outside and there’s 2 cars that have received their food. Went thru the drive thru line only for them to tell me the app didn’t relay the order when I have the confirmation emails that it went thru and this is the 3rd time this has happened. I reached out to their corporate to complain because this is absurd when I only have a 30 minute lunch. Not fast food at all.

The establishment structure and cleanliness is great, customer service and food is subpar, ordered 4 breakfast tacos and 1 of them was old and stale, 2 of the biscuits sandwiches were decent but very chewy, ordered an ice coffee and it was sweet beyond compare to other locations, we asked for mayonnaise and they brought light mayonnaise and we asked if they had regular they said no and walked away, for a McDonald’s being out of condiments like mayonnaise sounds is ridiculous soo early in the morning. This location needs to do better.
