Not our normal go to for Mexican food, but I like to try different places. My wife got a new job, so while the kids were at school, we had a little celebration lunch. Service was a little slow for only a few others in there, I had to flag our waitress to order and again to get our check, but overall not bad, food came out really fast. My wife had cheese enchilada with rice and beans. I had the (3) tacos lunch with two hard and one soft taco. Chips and dip were pretty good, red salsa would be better if it was warm. Both are meals were very good, fresh and delicious and we had a small take-out left over. Located less than a 1/2 mile off I-290 beside the Krogers, pretty easy access for travelers.

Excellent Mexican food from their enchiladas to fajitas, great service also. Service is quick, best enchiladas in the Northwest side of Houston area

Have visited this establishment several times. Always seems to be crowded when we go, usually Friday's for dinner. Food is good and service is not bad considering that the restaurant is crowded.

Margaritas, salsa and entree were just ok. Have had much better in other Mexican restaurants. Service was good.

The guy that took our drink order didn't bring our correct drinks. I order sweet tea and he brought me water. The water tasted so dirty. The tamales were small tan the sauce was bland. The server was rude and we felt rushed. The only good thing was the rice.

Great place to share with friends or family. Decorated beautifully, the service is personal and friendly and the restaurant is clean (this is a must for me).

This was our first visit to La Maria. We were seated promptly and offered drinks which came right away. Service was excellent. Chips are average; salsa and green sauce were good. I had the combination cheese enchilada, queso puff, and beef taco. All were good, but the enchilada could have had a bit more flavor. My husband ordered the carne guisada; wasn't particularly fond of it. We liked it enough we said we would try it again.
