This store is fantastic— the proprietor is extremely friendly, helpful, and generous. The Vietnamese iced coffee is my favorite morning pick-me-up, and the donuts are soft and delicious. My sons love the kolaches, particularly the brisket or boudin ones. I’m also a big fan of the sausage breakfast tacos! My wife enjoys the strawberry or mango smoothies, and this shop will help Taylor how sweet/strong they make the smoothies for you!
I strongly encourage folks in northern Houston to support this locally owned and run small business!

Mr. Donut is a great place, I come for breakfast very often, I love the breakfast burrito and the kolaches. I also LOVE Sanrio and Hello Kitty and they have the CUTESY kawaii merchandise for sale.

Very friendly service. Good Vietnamese coffee. I had to throw away the food. The bacon egg kolache had full slice of bacon but tiny hard pebbles of egg, bread was stale. The cake donut you could tell the grease was old. The apple fritter was hard and dry, like 2 days or more old. I never leave bad reviews but this was exceptionally bad food. Maybe different menu items are fresher, more popular but don't sell old, substandard food.
I have only been in a few times and I am always greeted and recognized! To the point they have memorized my order! The donuts and coffee are great and it’s always fun to chat with them! Definitely my go to for any donuts or kolaches around!

This is a great local spot to get your donuts or kolaches! I stopped by one time on the way to visit my mom, and I have been coming back ever since. The owner is very personable and always makes me feel welcome by remembering my order. I love jalapenos and in their Kolaches they are always fresh and tasty. I typically mix it up with a new donut every time, my favorites have been the apple fritter and the cinnamon roll. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap, fast, and tasty breakfast.

One of the best donut shops in Houston. The owner is very personable. I don't make frequent visits but he always remembers me. The yeast dough is perfect. Trail system for bikes and hiking makes the location even better for carbs after exercise.
