This is the best pizza place I have had in Houston. I don't know who's idea it was to change to a Mexican Food restaurant but at least they still have pizza. When it was till called Original Nee York and Chicago Pizza my family loved everything here. I enjoyed the Chicago style while my wife and kids loved the New York. And the freaking meatballs were awesome.

This place IS NOT closed...it's open and AWESOME! My family and I took a trip there from the Heights just to try the Pizza we hear a lot about. When we arrived, we saw a sign that said "Rio Lindo Mexican Grill" and that there us off. However, below that it said Original New York & Chicago Pizza. We were a bit skeptical, but we decide to try it anyway and...holy cow! The Fajitas and tortillas were awesome! And the Charro beans...OMG! We couldn't make up our minds on what to eat so we went ahead and orders the New York & Chicago style pizzas and they were soooo good! Surprising, the Chicago style pizza came out in less than 20 min. The service was great, the ambience was cool, and it was just a great dinner! If you Like Mexican Food and Pizza and can't decide where to go...you MUST try this place. It was worth the drive and I'll definitely be back! 6-Stars!

Great pizza by a local company. You got to have the Chicago deep dish

We've always loved the food that we got from here but recently realized that it switched over to a Mexican/pizza restaurant. We stayed but quickly realized that no one wore masks. We all were so uncomfortable the entire time. Food was still pretty good but just the idea that there may be someone in the kitchen not wearing a mask I only took 3 bites. I honestly don't care if Texas lifted there requirement for it. ESPECIALLY in a restaurant, a server should wear a mask.

What had been a pizzeria is now a Mexican restaurant that also makes pizza, which are definitely strange bedfellows. We had a Margarita pizza that had way too much cheese and was like eating rubber. Tomatoes were flaccid not fresh and crispy. A pretty mediocre dining experience.

Start by saving we loved this place. So, evidently they were bought out or merged with a Mexican Restaurant Rio Lindos. Which sounds like the best of both worlds but Hard No. We get there party of 5 and they tell us to wait at the door. Ok. There is a whole section of empty tables and 4 waitresses. They literally went to the sink and washed dishes why we sat there. When they were finally done the took us to the empty section and sat us. The one who sat us was rude but our waitress was nice. We ordered pizza like always. Delicious! Our guest we brought here for the 1st time ordered enchiladas. Do Not Order Mex Food. I honestly thought their plate were just the side plate with rice and beans. Nope. That unrolled flat as hell tortilla with melted chz on it was supposed to be an enchilada. I both apologized and we just laughed about it because it was so ridiculous. Even the beans, rice, and flauta were horrible. They didn't eat it so we shared our Lg Chicago pizza with them

Place is switching to Mexican spot. Ce 10 minutes early and they made me go sit in my car. While I sat in car watched 4 people walk in and get seate. Went back inside.. girl had no idea what an IPA beer was. They developed an attitude.. told them F you and left. To many choices here to deal with that crap.. was going to place a big order. NEVER WILL GO BACK TO THIS PLACE..

We have loved coming here every week for the last year. I'm so sad to hear they are changing their concept after tomorrow. We don't need another Mexican place and I don't want to be served pizza while smelling fajitas. I know all of these businesses are trying to survive in this horrible year but I think this is a really bad idea. We'll be looking for another place to go for our weekly pizza outing. Best of luck!

I got Chicago style deep dish and this is so close to deep dish pizza I’ve had in Chicago. I love it so much! The. Cheese was stringy, the sauce tasted great, and the dough was on point. I highly recommend going here for pizza!!

What they consider chicago style deep dish is not right. i ordered a a deep dish pizza because they had good reviews and when I received it it looked nothing like a real deep fish pizza... little sauce and when i asked got more she said it would be extra and that pizza was already $16. They do not know what deep dish pizza is and I would never go there again and I've told all my friends if they're looking for good deep dish this is not the place.

They have a good representation of Chicago style! The dough was a little thick, but the sauce and cheese are right on!
