I visited Plucker’s Cypress on January 4, 2026, at approximately 11:00 pm. I ordered five simple wings with nothing else. Five wings. The wings took an extremely long time, so I asked to speak with the manager. Alanis appeared. I told him that I would like a complimentary drink. He immediately returned, “We don’t give complimentary drinks.” I asked him what the problem was, and he said there was only one cook.
The issue that I have is that Plucker’s is a WING place with WINGS on the sign. That means to me wings should not be a hold up at all. One person doing wings is like one oil mechanic doing oil changes at Jiffy Lube OIL Change. The conversation was short and rude, as he constantly spoke over me. I am even puzzled as to why he did not offer some fries, as you will probably through out some anyway.
If you have a production problem, it is not “strange” to do something to make the customer feel better about his or her experience. Lastly, the bartenders never engage with the customers. They serve and disappear…. Is this location ever going to get formal customer service training and etiquette?

This is our favorite chain to go to for wings. The food is always good and there's always plenty of sports on to watch. It can be a little loud sometimes, but that's to be expected.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, especially on Tuesdays because kids eat free.
