The food and hospitality was awesome

This place is a Mexican restaurant and New York Chicago pizzeria. Our family of four visited and two of us had Mexican, two had pizza. My husband and son liked the pizza, but I have to rave about the Mexican food. The salsa was really good and the chips were fresh. My margarita wasn't very strong, but it was super tasty. I got the cheese enchilada and crispy taco plate and added a tamale. The tamale was the star! So, so good! They use real cheddar cheese in their cheese enchiladas which I really like. The taco was just okay, but the charro beans are really good too. We'll definitely come back soon!

We are pleasantly surprised at how good this little hole in the wall is. At first we were unsure since they also serve pizza, but after having the beef fajitas for two, we are no longer in doubt. This place is really good. Waitstaff was attentive and kind, and I'm always for supporting local family owned businesses. Give them a try!

Lunch was affordable but forgetful and not so flavorful. I had the grilled chicken burrito which was shredded white chicken with refried beans, topped with a kinda light brown gravy. We'll try some more premium menu items on another visit but the flavors were bland.

Fresh food made to order. The staff is always nice and friendly! I eat here at least once a week and love the food! Great food, great service, and a competitive price!

Not the best value. Food was ok, but priced at El Tiempo or Gringos prices.

This used to be a New York pizza, I ordered a large "supreme" with everything on it, and when I got it home it only had pepperoni onions and green peppers. I paid $27 for this? On top of that it was undercooked and terrible. Do not waste your time or money in this dive!!!

Walked upon this spot after getting my nails done in the same shopping center. The bar was inviting and their skinny margaritas were delicious. Came back for taco Tuesday and it did not disappoint. No wait time, great Mexican food, friendly staff and great drinks.

So this was my very first try of 'Rio Lindo'. I was a regular customer of 'New York & Chicago Pizzeria'. Same owner. My husband and I went in for a quick lunch yesterday. It was quiet, which is nice. The atmosphete was great. Our server was very good. I ordered the beef burrito and my husband ordered a personal size Chicago-style pizza, which came with an awesome side salad. My husband loved the pizza and salad. My buritto tasted great. Just wish it a little more beef and less bean filler. The rice and beans were actually not bad at all. I loved the music that was being played. Reminded me of San Antonio. We were in and out in a timely manner. I think I wanna try their margaritas next time! I confess I was pleasantly surprised because I wasn't exactly sure how they would go from Italian to Mexican. I think they may have pulled it off!

After ordering 1 order of beef fajitas than another for 2 the size of the portions were very small. The amount of salsa they gave us could have filled a shot glass. Salsa and fajitas were average at best. Queso was good though. The bill was over $70 and felt like the amount of food we were given wasn’t close to that value. This was a take out order also.

I hate giving this review. I loved when it was New York Chicago pizza. Ordered fajitas from here. One order for 2 and a order for 1. The portions were very small. Had a order of Queso which was good. The salsa portion was enough to fill a shot glass. For $72 and the amount we got I will not be back.

VERY good! Got the Enchiladas Verdes and what I liked is that the chicken, #1, is favorable, and that my dish wasn't covered with sauce and cheese. First time in a long time I actually ate everything on my plate! They still have pizza too...YAY!!!

What a nice surprise. Not as busy as other restaurants. I loved the combo fajitas for 2.Then the next week I wanted queso and my wife wanted pizza and this place hit the spot I got my queso and she got a Chicago pizza with great service

After recently discovering Rio Lindo, we dine here once a week and can say the food is consistently good ! The charro beans are the best in Texas based on five decades of dining in SA Market Square, Austin and various places around Houston. Rio has replaced our other two fav places in Cypress. The staff is friendly, quick with our orders and the atmosphere, unlike some other places, quieter, cozy as well as super close to home - cannot beat for quality and convenience !
