Took my son to this breakfast spot that bears my name hoping for a good breakfast. It's always nice when you can enter a restaurant and allow you to sit where you want. I ordered coffee and it came lukewarm. I usually don't order coffee at a restaurant because more often than not it's not to my liking. Sure enough it wasn't. I like my coffee hot and it was far from it. We ordered and upon arrival the hash browns weren't hot, neither was my toast. You guessed it, like my meals hot off the grill. The ham and cheese omelette was good and the service was ok. The server forgot to bring us water. I usually don't nitpick when I'm out but I was expecting far better. It's a decent looking breakfast and lunch spot with plenty of parking. My son enjoyed his breakfast so it's getting a 4! You might fare better than I. Others say it's a good place for breakfast. Try it.

My husband and I had breakfast from Roy's today and I was excited because of the great reviews but unfortunately I was terribly disappointed. I ordered the steak and eggs with a side of French toast. The French toast was very good, but I'd have to give the steak and eggs a 0. The steak was severely overcooked. It tasted like the bottom of the oven and was barely edible. The eggs were also overcooked and bland. I did like the side of hash/potatoes but even they were just ok. My husband had a burrito with bacon, sausage egg cheese and hash. He said it was good but just a little too much hash. He did say the salsa was trash though. Safe to say I won't be returning here unless it's for the French toast.

UPDATED 9-15-24. The waffle was good, as expected. However, the menu price is not accurate and when I pointed it out, was told they are waiting for new menus but changed the price in the cash register already. So everyone is probably paying more than the menu price. Bad policy. I'll wait a few months before going back. They argued about the price but did correct it.

Restaurant was clean and quiet but breakfast was nothing to brag about. The chicken strips for the chicken and waffles was very very hard and dry. The chicken and waffle picture seemed like you were getting wings but they were dry hard chickenstrips.First and last time here.
