I really wanted to like this seafood restaurant but left disappointed. This restaurant is in a fantastic location on the Boardwalk in Towne Lake, Cypress area.
A very inviting restaurant. Large bar area inside and out. A plethora of TV’s to watch from, and some booths even have their own TV. There is a very large seating area with an outdoor bar with lots of TVs too. Great view of the lake.
The food was ok. The chips with the sampler were large although didn’t have a good crisp too them. The calamari was slightly tough and the breading was a little heavy (too thick). The spicy sauce with the seafood (shrimp boil) wasn’t spicy at all. The kids cheeseburger was a small slider. The steak was well cooked (medium rare request and it came out accordingly). We found the seafood flavors ok, not great.
The service was not attentive enough. Needed to ask for utensils, appetizers came out same time as food. We were a large party of 9 however the food came out as it was ready so that would make more sense if it all came out.
Lots of parking available although it does get busy so anticipate a walk.
Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Wonderful atmosphere next to the lake. Service was okay. I placed a call in order for to go was told be ready in 20 minutes but wasn’t out till about 35 minutes, I definitely don’t mind waiting a longer time for sure if the place is during busy and packed. Was maybe 5 other customers inside. Food was okay order the Sampler basket didn’t taste to fresh/ hotness when I made it home. Sam’s boat is less than 5 minutes away from my house. The crab bites were tasty never had that before. My daughter got the shrimp basket it was okay for her she liked the catfish better.

Bad service- seems like lazy teenagers just standing around. We ordered the crawfish and they tasted old with no flavor just seasoning thrown on top. Lastly, the bathroom was really gross. 🤢 Such a beautiful scenery but this place needs serious help!

Blackend fish tako mediocre at best. Basically got ignored sitting at the bar. Had to find them to pay my tab. And are you serious with the 16 dollar cocktail.

TOWNE LAKE SAMS BOAT: DO NOT PATRANIZE FOR CRAWFISH.
Came out to Rhis location to enjoy crawfish on this beautiful saturday afternoon. Our crawfish came back cold along with the vegetables. sent the first set back and the next set came back cold as well. the manager is refusing to remove the crawfish completely off the tab although none of it was eaten. i’m having to call the cops myself because instead of making it right the manager felt the need to call security saying we still have to pay for the crawfish when it is still not being touched or eaten.
EDIT: the security officer came, basically trying to strong arm us into paying for the crawfish, saying he would pay for food he hasn’t eaten if it was him.
the Cops that i called did show up and shout out to them! they were very professional and understanding. from the moment they arrived all communication from us to the restaurant was handled through the officers. He worked out a compromise of paying for one of the trays only but the the waitress told us to take them both to go.
regardless please be aware of the manager and general manager. they have very nasty attitudes and horrible customer service. We asked for Corporate number well before the officers got there, and it took the officers going back and asking them for it again for them to give us the number.

Well, the food wasn't good, shrimp pasta was dry, and the fried shrimp was tasteless. Service was horrible. The waiter stood in place and passed the food across the table. He never moved to place the food on the table or in front of customers. The ticket was wrong overcharged, which has to be addressed when they open this morning. A big disappointment ? As for a tip, I gave nothing due to poor service. Better luck to you !

It was my first time here. I felt as if thecod fish was overcooked. The fries, coleslaw, and dip were delicious! I give the atmosphere 3 stars because we were there rooting for the opposing team and people were not happy.

this place cannot serve gumbo right. my shrimp and chicken were mushy, and it was too thick to be considered a soup. love the atmosphere, but, the gumbo was just not it.
