First time we visited, but we will definitely be back! With the grilled entrées, you also have a choice of blackened, which I like. The blackened catfish was delicious, with nice portions, great tasting grilled vegetables and dirty rice. Very glad it comes with a side salad, which was great! My husband enjoyed the flavorful fried shrimp dish, and my daughter really liked the grilled chicken dish. The atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff is friendly with excellent service. All this , along with very reasonable prices!!

Sam’s Seafood and steak is the place to go! They have delicious food for amazing prices. The atmosphere is very nice and calming, while their staff are professional and kind.
The location was excellent. They gave a choice of booth or table which I appreciate. The atmosphere was cozy. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and efficient. The food was just awesome. Onion rings, crab balls, gumbo, salmon, chicken fried chicken - all superb! It's also BYOB which is nice.

Wife just visited and brought me an order of fried shrimp and gumbo here at work. Excellent food even after a 45 min trip to the office the fried shrimp still held up well and was delicious! Can’t wait to go with the family when I’m not at work to try more of their food. We both have restaurant background from the past and when we come across a spot we like we always try to highly recommend ! Definitely recommend this spot

Really had high hopes for a good steak house but they were dashed and my standards arent high. To start they roll the silverware in a napkin. Its decor is pretty casual. we were the only patrons at 6pm on a Sunday night. That worried me when we parked. Theres no complimentary rolls or bread served as most steak houses do. The appetizers were decent. Baked potatoes were luke warm. We ordered the poatoes "with everything and extra sour cream. Every topp8ng came on the side in little jello shot cups. ??? They dont have suateed mushrooms as a steak topper. What the heck?? Fried okra had no seasoning not even salt. Steak was under cooked- sent it back to cook a bit more and came back over cooked. Gravy with Chicken fried chicken was heavily congealed. Fried catfish did not taste fresh. We sat at a square four seat table and the huge plates they brought our food on barely fit on the table. That was awkward. We had to ask twice or 3 times for multiple things like an extra fork when main course was served because waitress had taken our forks with the salads when she cleared them. Just a really bad experience.

Food comes out hot and it’s fresh and delicious. The seating is comfortable as well as the atmosphere. The hostess is very kind.

Food and service are excellent here in a very clean restaurant. We mostly have either steak or stuffed salmon but sometimes fried seafood. All excellent with an exceptional waitstaff. I am not a drinker so I am not effected by the BYOB policy but have seen many people bring in either bottles of wine or a small cooler of beer.
It's not an impressive restaurant. First, the good. Parking was easy. Greeted and seated immediately. The server was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with a dish, and the manager came over and took care of it immediately. I had fried fish and shrimp. They were pretty good. Fresh and hot. The coke coleslaw was not good and just tasted like cabbage and mayonnaise. The side salad was tiny but fresh. My baked potato was not fully cooked. It was still crunchy and not hot. My mother had the mage mashed potatoes, and they were not good. We had shrimp brochette. It was fair, but they served it with a thin white sauce that mostly tasted like mayonnaise. The salmon portion was generous. There is no alcohol service at all, including beer or wine. The place was nearly empty on a Thursday evening. Parts of the food were good, but too many were not. Although there were only a few patrons, it was still difficult too get the attention of our server.

This is a hidden gem. We had the filet steak and it was cooked perfectly. The grilled vegetables were delicious. The real star was the seafood gumbo. Our server, Nick was outstanding!
