I utilized the drive thru. The service was slow and the food wasn't good at all. I usually have a better experience from this location, so maybe it was just an "off" day.

Notice: there are two locations on Barker Cypress. One is just off Hwy. 290, the other is 6.5 mi. from Hwy 290-
Went for the Blackout Slush- Float, it's really good. Then I got the Beef chili dog, it's really good as well. I went on a weekday afternoon with little traffic
*First time at this location on Barker Cypress. It was a pleasant, late afternoon.

I see why the reviews are terrible. Service so terrible I had to cancel my order in the drive thru line. Never done that before. Should have listened to the reviews.

This is the first and LAST time I come to this Sonic location. I had a very simple order placed on the app, two slushies and an order of queso fries. Three problems. Forgot my order, I didn’t receive the correct drink I ordered, and terrible customer service. I placed my order before my friend, and he somehow got his ahead of mine. My friend then asked the female worker that brought our food where our drinks were, and she goes “ drinks? what drinks? “ Then he mentions to her that there’s another order here that was placed at this stall before his order. She just walks back in without saying anything to us. She then proceeds to bring another 3 out. We stop her for the 2nd time and asked her about my order and I show her my phone for the order that was. She says “ What’s the name of the order? “ I say my name, and she walks away. She brings out ANOTHER two orders for customers who came after us. She finally then comes out with my order, however when I receive it- the rainbow slush is just this dark blue color with strawberry bits. Luckily for me, I’ve been to sonic before and has ordered this drink PLENTY of times enough to know it doesn’t come looking like this. I try to let them know about the slush through the red button and they just leave us on “hold” I suppose you could call it. They finally bring out an actual rainbow slush, however her attitude towards us was absolutely disgusting. I try to tell her that I don’t even want the drink anymore, but before I could- she said to my friend “ the drink? “ and he goes “ yea, it’s right here- it’s too wate- “ and before he could even finishes, she goes “ yea, give me the other drink. “ which I had NO PROBLEM doing. I preferred giving her the drink back and getting a refund for it anyways. I’ve never been SO afraid to receive a remake of an item from such a rude representative of the company, all I could think was “ What if they spat in it? “ I did not want to spite her anymore than she already was. so I just took the remake handed the old one and left. I threw it away in the trash immediately after, due to fear of having spit in my drink due to a complaint.

I just ordered 5 shakes: 2 strawberry cream pie shakes and 3 Oreo shakes. However, what I received was just plain vanilla ice cream. I have been trying to call, but no one is answering the phone.

Made a mobile order at 230PM and the app told me it would be ready at 240PM. I arrived at 240PM and checked into my stall. The stall welcomed me and showed my name, and a few minutes later it proceeds to say someone will be out with my order. I proceeded to sit and wait for 30 minutes and still no order. I walked inside and asked about my order and they tried to tell me it was my fault and didn't check in /or that it was a computer error. That wasn't the case, it is common practice at most Sonics to mark the order is being sent out to make their metrics look good to show their boss that people do not wait a long time. I no longer wanted my food and made sure to get a receipt to show my transaction was voided, which I had to wait another 5 minutes for. Do not waste your time here.

Went through drive thru and female taking order could not understand what we wanted, and said something completely different than what was ordered. The name of the server is Chukodic on the receipt. Screen didn’t work either. Extremely poor service!

Wanted to try the Dr. PEPPER and pickels trend. It was good! I also had tator tots. The tots were crispy and hot! Sonic tator tots are my absolute favorite! The service did not disappoint either.
