I needed some help trying to figure out which Berman was best to cook with. They were very friendly. Help me out and got me in and out of the store pretty quickly even though they did a remodel!

What has happened to the store on 290 and Cypress Rose Hill. I've lived in this area now for about 26 years and have always frequented this store. The employees have always been friendly, the store in nice shape as far as stocked and cleanliness. All of a sudden the beer cooler which is what I primarily drink has been a train-wreck. Empty or understocked. I like a variety of beer which Specs usually has nice choices. Quit going there about 6 weeks ago and just started hitting HEB. Decided to give it another shot. Beer cooler was better but not by much. The cashier was the straw today. Didn't say hello, thank, screw you, nothing. Done with Specs. Hit the store at 1 PM today 10-15-2025 if anyone cares.

My Liquor store for 15 yrs now. Friendly and informative staff. Plenty of selections and always stocked up.

Not the biggest Specs I’ve been to, but they have a good selection of beer and cigars at a great price. I prefer Specs over a foreigner owned establishment. I’ll be back weekly.

Knowledge of the employees, and willingness to help was unsurpassed. If they had a Spec’s in Southern California, this would be my place to shop.

No exaggeration 20 people waiting in line for a single register at 5:45pm on a Saturday while other workers are here, is crazy. The manager getting called to handle code 4s and just walking away, only to come back for more code 4s is not cool. Hop on the register. I come here for soju mostly. Good prices and selection, except for poor stocking of Jinro flavors. Also parking is very tight.

Their humidor is poorly maintained. Missing stock, cigars stocked in the wrong spot, humidity issues/dried out cigars, unopened boxes that are supposed to be singles, etc.

The staff here is very friendly and they've been transparent that they haven't had a humidor employee in some time. However... It has been at least 4 months since I've started using this Spec's for cigars and that's more than long enough to at least get a temporary transfer from another location. This place is convenient, but expect to remind the managers each time your main cigars are low in stock, otherwise you're going to be stuck with a hole on the shelf sometimes.
