Great place! Super cute decor and theme! I went with a friend for lunch and we were greeted and seated as soon as we came in. The waitress immediately took our drinks as well. I ordered the chicken flautas which were so filling and I would definitely recommend! My friend had the giant burrito which - I will warn you - it lives up to its name. She ordered queso as well, I will say the missing star is because of the queso. It was quite bland and really mild compared to other quesos that I've had from other places. We also got complimentary chips and salsa which were all delicious! I will definitely be coming back to try their other meals!

I've been going here for a while now and since I'm back for the holiday, I decided to eat here after the gym. I ordered a giant burrito with pastor and my wife ordered menudo. The burrito was delicious and very filling. They made sure you get a piece of meat with every bite. The menudo according to my Latina wife says that it is very authentic Mexican menudo! The place was very authentic as well as it felt like I was in a taqueria in Mexico. They had sombreros and painting on the wall to really express the Latino culture. The service was amazing, the server took my order with no problem and even offered me more free chips! The place is located near an Anytime fitness so after your gym session you can grab a post workout meal! 5 out of 5 stars!

Street tacos were decent but the chips and queso was quite literally jar quality nacho cheese you get from a concession stand. A “Authentic Mexican Grill” would be embarrassed to service what I was given.Owner Response Edit: It doesn’t take Gordon Ramsey to make good queso, of course an “Authentic Mexican Grill” should know that. Guess you’re just mad you got called out for serving ballpark nacho cheese. What a joke haha

We pretty much enjoyed the birria on flour. The tortillas weren't completely covered in consomé. It was on one side and not on the inside where the meat and cheese were, but they were fine. We did also get beef quesadillas and they were very salty. The refried beans were bland. Like it could benefit from some kind of pork or something. The rice wasn't very good either, and had clumps. My advice is keep it Birria tacos only at this place.

I should have actually looked at all the people posting the reviews because they sure as heck don't know authentic.First off, the wait staff were actually eating here with their families and got up from their table to wait on us.Secondly, I ordered the Agua de Horchata. Taste alone, it's the little envelopes you get at the grocery store.Their consome, too much cumin. Their hot sauces, neither hot or lacking flavor.You're better off going to the opposite side of this shopping center.

As a Mexican I can say is truly authentic. Awesome food and very nice and kind staff. Best place for a birria taco in Cypress so far. Prices are great for the food quality. Local jewel if you ask me!!I would highly recommend the quesabirrias, street tacos and the tortas. Super tastefull and service is great there! One of my favorite places for lunch there :)

I haven't had the pleasure to dine in but we have ordered from here a few times and every time the food has been excellent. I have tried other places around but we always end up back to ordering from Tacarbon. Their Birria tacos satisfy my cravings every time. Their salsa sauces are a huge hit in my home and they give plenty to go around.
